Capítulo 148: Judgment

Silence surrounded the courtroom. Everyone's eyes were on the Judge Bench where three people sat in the pivotal state. They were curious to know what was going to be the judgment. Votes had been taken but everyone knew that it all depends on Mr Doras in the end. 

Evelyn, like everyone, waited for the decision in the witness box. She was confused as to what the judgment would be as there wasn't any evidence provided but each member in the courtroom knew about the scandals Mr Aldrich had made. She glanced at him and saw him in relief. Her face frowned as he didn't regret the sins he committed. He was the reason why her uncle was not with her anymore. She despised him. 

Not long after, she heard Mr Doras clear his throat. She looked in that direction, mentally praying as the wait was finally over.
