Capítulo 52: Falling for him

In a room Evelyn laid on the floor, crumbled. Her brows furrowed and her cheeks had stains of dried-up tears. A knock on the door woke her up. She sprung to her feet and walked over to the door to open it, thinking how she had fallen asleep.

Her blue eyes met the brown ones as she opened the door. Tears welled up in her and she moved forward, hugging Elric tightly.

"You are here finally. I thought I will never be able to see you again," she said, mumbling into his chest between the sobs. 

Elric stood there, softly caressing her back, allowing her time to calm down. He had no idea what had happened, but he was aware that something had occurred. He observed her torn sleeve, which had a sharp slash mark on her exposed skin.
