Capítulo 58: Chapter 58 - End of the Tutorial
At this moment, Zach could be found alone in the living room after Patrick and the rest finally left the place but before that, he briefed them first on what they needed to do with the Sanctuary Portal Totems that he had given them a while ago.
Zach only gave them two instructions before leaving. One of them is not to immediately use the Sanctuary Portal Totem after coming back to their respective countries and told them to wait for at least a week. Second and most importantly, is that he told them to recruit trusted survivors, the more the better, and to ensure their safety, he gave them bronze-class items like the one he was using but all of which weren't enhanced.
Right now, Zach was only waiting for the tutorial to end while still thinking about the totems that he had given to Patrick and the rest. He doesn't know if it would work because if it is then it would be great however, if it won't, then it will be a shame to lose capable people like them.
However, even if the Sanctuary Portal Totem works, there will still be a problem that would probably arise since there is only one portal here in the sanctuary, and yet they were using the same Sanctuary Portal Totem given by the system in different locations on Earth.
If it works then going to Pluto Sanctuary would be not a problem however, the problem now is how would they go back to Earth since there are now five locations with the same portal leading to Undead Enclave Shelter.
In this problem, Zach thought of three possible results. One is that they will probably be transported randomly among the five locations. The second one is that they will be able to choose which they would like to go but the system might need to intervene with that, and lastly, they won't get transported at all and become lost somewhere.
Zach, however, believed that the second option was more plausible to happen and if it really worked, then it would mean that they could now travel to the Philippines, Japan, France, India, and Brazil. In fact, it was also the main reason why he risks such things as it would mean that if he wanted to, he could make some footholds in those countries with the help of Patrick and the others.
On the other hand, Zach didn't include Daniel, Hector, and Brian in this plan because he did not know them well and couldn't muster to trust them with such an important and secretive matter. As for Korea, he had already forgotten about it since Eun Ae planned on coming with him and he also wouldn't risk her going back to Korea if his theory was bound to be wrong.
With that, time then passed by and finally, the familiar notification sounded once again seeing not just Zach but also the residents of Undead Enclave Shelter could be found looking at the system notification window in front of them with mixed delight and worry.

Seeing the notifications, Zach didn't answer immediately as he read the words carefully especially the sentence saying that he was one of the survivors who had occupied a shelter because that would mean that there were also survivors who had completed the main mission just like him. However, he didn't feel bad at all but felt delighted instead knowing that there were people who also survived other than them.
"Eun Ae, I will be going first. Just wait for me for a while as I will activate the portal soon when I arrive back on Earth." Zach said as he looked at Eun Ae who was beside him since he needed to get back first before he could activate the portal.
"Go and do your thing. I'll be waiting for your return." Eun Ae replied before she moved closer to Zach and gave him a deep kiss.
Not before long, Zach then answered the system and he immediately disappeared from where he was leaving Eun Ae alone in the living room. With that, Eun Ae then just headed to the second floor where the Shelter's Core was located to see if the others had also left.
Meanwhile, Zach appeared back at his house however, he could be found covering his eyes as if he was blinded by something after being transported however, not long after that, he then regained his composure and immediately looked around to see if the others had also returned.
After that, two people immediately caught Zach's eyes upon seeing Zoey and Shiela inside the house. He was so happy to see them especially Zoey as he could no longer contain his emotions to burst out as he immediately went forward to his twin sister upon seeing that she was alive.
"Zach!!" Zoey also called with great happiness as she even started crying upon seeing Zach after a long time of being not together. She has been transported to an unknown place and experienced hardships crueler than all the calamities combined and what's sadder about it is that she is completely alone and doesn't have anyone to lean on.
With that, Zach then just continued to embrace Zoey before looking at Shiela on the corner and also felt glad seeing her alive and well however, when he tried looking for Jenny and the rest, his heart started to beat louder from anxiousness because if they were alive then they should already be here right now.
"W-Where are the others?" Zach asked as he stopped embracing Zoey. He then just looked around the house and only then he saw the place had plants growing everywhere. Not minding them, he then just headed to the kitchen, to their rooms, and lastly to the bathroom but still he didn't find them.
"Z-Zach." Zoey tried to calm Zach down after seeing him looking so anxious. In fact, she doesn't want to believe what she was thinking right now but there is no logical reason as to why they weren't here since minutes have already gone by.
"Help!! There's a beast!!
"Kill it!!!"
"Help me!!"
Suddenly, a commotion could be heard outside that caught Zach, Zoey, and Shiela's attention. They looked at each other first before immediately heading out, however, they never would have thought to be blinded by something they didn't expect.
Aside from seeing the clear blue sky, the situation outside was completely different from what it was before upon seeing tall grasses reaching their waists. Different plantations were growing all over the place and the abnormally tall trees that were not there before were also around. To sum it up, the base had become like a forest as they could see most of the houses were already devoured by plants.
Zach saw the people outside also surprised by this phenomenon as they all felt like they had been transported to the wrong Earth but seeing the wooden houses around, there was no mistaking it that this was the base they had come from before the tutorial happened.
"It's going to kill us!!"
"Help!!"
Another shout echoed from which Zach no longer wasted time and ran towards the direction in which the commotion was happening. After arriving, there he saw two enormous beasts however he was more surprised to see one of the people who were fighting against it cast a fireball from his hands while the others around him were wearing armor and carrying weapons in their hands.
"It's Zach!!"
"Zach is here!!"
Zach's appearance immediately caught everyone's attention as they all knew that he was the leader of the base. Though they have also survived and gotten some items to wear, all of them were dumbstruck upon seeing Zach's attire ranging from his boots, trousers, gloves, arm guards, and armor while carrying a sword in his hand.
Seeing Zach, the people who were fighting against the two beasts immediately backed off as they were none other than the Rangers whose main tasked is to protect the people living on the base.
"Zach! It's you! I'm glad you survived." The person who had cast a fireball went closer to Zach and immediately greeted him with delight.
"Ethan. I also feel glad that you're alive." Zach smiled and greeted Ethan who was wearing quite a number of ordinary items with surprisingly one bronze-class item on his body after using appraisal skills on him.
"This is not what's important right now. Let's kill these beasts first before they kill one of us. I don't know what they were and where they came from but they suddenly came out from nowhere." Ethan said as he looked at the two beasts with his brows knitting.

"Everyone stop!!" Zach shouted upon seeing the information of the two beasts in front of them which he felt surprised and worried at the same time. Though he wasn't completely certain about what he was thinking, his heart was telling him that the two beasts in front of him were none other than Adam and Eve.
Zach didn't have any clue as to what happened to them when they got transported to Pluto Sanctuary but one thing is a fact, they became more ferocious and powerful upon seeing all their information was filled with question marks which meant they were not ordinary class of beasts.
Hearing Zach, and as if it was normal, everyone stopped and remained silent. They already knew how strong Zach back before the tutorial began so they all thought that he must have come back more abnormal especially seeing that his appearance kind of looked more mature than before.
Zach walked towards the two beasts slowly making them growled angrily at him and to everyone that surrounded them. He doesn't know if the two were really Adam and Eve, but he wanted to take his chances since there's no harm in doing it as he could just kill them later if they really weren't them.
"Zach, it's dangerous." Ethen warned Zach upon seeing him moving toward the beasts.
"It's okay. I felt like it was Adam and Eve. You all stay there and let me approach it first." Zach replied while he continued moving closer while raising his hand to them wanting to give them a hint that he didn't intend to attack.
Hearing Zach, everyone feels shocked as they remember those names as those were the names of the two dogs that were living inside the base. They knew that they were big even before, but they just couldn't believe the fact that the beasts who were in front of them now were them.
….Growl….
….Growl….
The two beasts growled at Zach however, the closer he got to them the more they became less ferocious and when Zach finally touched their furs, the two completely looked like domesticated pets as their ferocious aura suddenly disappeared and was replaced by an excited expression seeing them started licking Zach's face with their tails wagging happily on their backs.
"I-It really was them." Ethan muttered after seeing the sudden changes of the two beasts. He then just wondered how Zach knew about it since their appearance was completely different from the way they were before because aside from being more enormous, they started to look like wolves rather than dogs.
On the other hand, the other survivors also felt the same as Ethan and their nervousness then started to subside thinking that they were no longer a threat. Each of them then started talking to each other while some could be found shouting some names probably looking for their family.
Meanwhile, Zach has become completely wet after being licked all over his body but he didn't stop them as he was just as happy to see them still alive despite them not being around or who knows if they were also transported to Pluto Sanctuary.
Adam and Eve right now were probably twice the size of a wolf added by the fact that their colors have changed seeing Adam's fur has completely turned full black while Eve's fur has completely turned full white unlike before where there could be found some spots in them.
Zach then just thought that the two must probably not have intended to fight them but were only forced to do so after everyone started to get their guard up and attack them because if the two really wanted to cause havoc then with their unknown class and level alone, he was sure that they have already started a massacre in the base.
"Zach." Suddenly, someone called his name, so Zach immediately looked back to see who it was as it came from a woman and only after seeing her made him smile and happy, however, the expression on his face suddenly changed upon seeing her carrying a baby in her arms.
Zach knew that Sophia was not pregnant before the tutorial began so he thought that it was probably a baby that she had saved from someone back in Pluto Sanctuary however, the look in her eyes was telling otherwise and for unknown reasons, his heart started beating fast as something suddenly crossed his mind.
"I-I'm sorry, Zach. J-Jenny, s-she didn't make it." Sophia said with tears started flowing out of her eyes after remembering what happened back in Pluto Sanctuary.
Zach's eyes widened after hearing Sophia which his body then started shaking as he completely understood what she was trying to tell him. He had mixed feelings after hearing the news but most of them were anger and grief thinking about why it happened to Jenny.
Not long after that, Zach could no longer stop his tears from falling down as he moved towards Sophia to see the baby in her arms. With his hand still shaking, he took the baby and had a good look at it since it was something that she left behind in this world.
"D-Does she have a name?" Zach asked while looking at the baby.
"Angel. Jenny named her Angel." Sophia replied in tears while looking at the baby.
"Angel it is. Well. Hello, Angel. T-This is me your Papa and I'm sorry I wasn't there with your Mama." Zach said while smiling at the baby even though the tears continued to come out from his eyes. Following that, he then just headed back to his house with everyone giving him way as they also heard their conversation.
