"Who dares break into my house and disturb me?!"
The voice of Caleb's father was filled with anger and annoyance. He then turned his gaze towards the intruder, who turned out to be a ten year old with a magic bow and a glowing blade that had somehow melted a hole through his magical fence. His eyes laying on the magic bow and the glowing blade when he shouted.
"How dare you steal my bow and blade?! They belong to me! Guards, kill him and get my stuff back"
As these words left his mouth his death sentence was signed.

๑Caleb, let Ace take over, she'll take care of the fighting while we cast spells๑
~Alright~
And so what would be known as Thronwoods Battle began.
Ace shouted a war cry.
"Aaaaaaa"
She threw the blade to the nearest guard and struck him in the chest. Immediately after he cried in pain he turned to ashes. She then leaped forward. While she was in the air she filled the magical bow with lightning and air energy, a second later, multiple magical arrows were raining down on the guards. As well as multiple colored spells.
In just like that, the dozen guards surrounding them fell dead, they were frozen and shattered or burned to ashes, electrocuted and some had been decapitated by the air arrows.
Sir Thornwood, who was watching this scene from his house door could not help but gasp at the sudden turn of events. As Theo had learnt illusion magic, they appeared to be a faceless ten year old kid who was wreaking havoc in the Thornwoods Manor.
Sir Thornwood immediately went inside and tapped a crystal in the wall that turned red. It then transmitted that signal somewhere as a portal started to open, on the other side was a small army of a few hundred people that were his emergency mercenaries. His escape portal was not needed as these forces would be more than enough to strike the mysterious figure.
As soon as the portal opened, Ace and the other's already knew what was waiting on the other side of the portal and were ready. They were also given the location of the portals so in order to prevent anyone from escaping they would need to destroy this area.
Instead of rushing into the house they retreated to Caleb's small hut and started the summoning process as more than twelve champions had appeared and were currently shrunken in size, within them was the majestic Silverfang as well as the evolved versions of Nes and Blob. When they managed to summon a tetracaster, their summoning limit was broken and their lesser champions evolved into more powerful ones allowing for a destructive force to be hidden inside a small wooden hut in the manors backyard.
They were going to release their champions as they took care of the portal center and captured Caleb's family. Just as they were about to move, they felt an incredible amount of magical power being condemned above their heads as hundreds of mercenaries prepared their most powerful spells, already pointing them towards the small hut.
Apparently they had left the house and were going to start an all out attack against a ten year old. They knew what they had to do in order to surprise them and they would do it.
By using illusion magic they drew several wounds on their body as their face changed again into an unknown little boy who was clearly suffering, they left their champions at the hut and stumbled out, falling to the ground outside the hut.
"H-help me, please, don't kill me"
They said with a trembling and weak voice, weak enough to show fatigue but strong enough for it to be heard by all the mercenaries who stopped their attack in midair confused, they looked at each other when a single mercenary stepped forward and said to Caleb.
"Surrender and you will mostly live"
His face was stone cold but one could see doubt in his eyes as he spoke these words to a small child. Even though they were mercenaries they had somewhat of a moral compass that no matter how twisted protected defenseless children. Trevor took this opportunity to step forward and take control over Ace as she would blow their cover by trying to launch forward.
He instead expanded his senses and located the family members having lunch in a room with an overlooking window to the backyard where the child who held their "treasures" would be killed no matter what.
Trevor sent a mental command to the champions to start their attack as a loud roar was heard from the hut. A white tiger with a frozen tail growing inside making the hut explode revealing the several creatures inside. Trevor then melted into the shadows and appeared by the portals. He then places his hand on the portan in order to see the sigil that was transforming magical power into spatial magic.
Once he had the sigil in his mind he froze the stone arches that were covered in runes and then slashed the ice with the blade shattering the two portals in one blow. The shattering sound resounded as the mercenaries realized their fatal mistake of underestimating their opponent.
They then let their attacks rain on the beasts as they turned to kill the attacker behind their backs. However, their attacks all missed as the championes moved with incredible speeds as they were used to sparring with Ace and Trevor whose attack magic was incredible.
They started their own attack as multiple magical energies of all elements shot forward to meet the distracted mercenaries and whip out a hundred of them, the rest reacting just in time to put up barriers or dodge the attacks.
On the other side, Trevor breathed out as the air around them started lowering in temperature and small snowflakes floating in midair appeared. These snowflakes then started expanding into medium ice blades that then started rotating like saws creating a deadly field of ice saws. This spell was one of his favorite one as it reduced the enemy movements and cut them apart. He decided to participate in the last second as he realized the situation they were in.
The saws caught a lot of mercenaries off guard and chopped them off, making a nauseating scene as a hundred mercenaries were ripped apart in an instant. The ones that tried to strike the ice saws in order to break them found out these saws exploded thanks to Ace's fire spells creating a chain reaction that whipped out most of the manor and blew Caleb's adoptive family through the window to the champions below that were finishing the last surviving mercenaries.
