So if the entire trial had to be summarised in a simple manner it'd be like this; once Adonis moved, the runes on the walls would begin to shift and the flow of the cylinders would change.

He'd have to read the intent of the runes and align his body with them as he harmonised his inner qi with the polarity of the energy of the cylinders.
