Capítulo 462: Interrogation

Ariana felt her heart jump by leaps and bounds. However, on the surface, she pretended to be worried and concerned, "Missing? Are you sure officers? My mother has the habit of leaving the house without telling anyone. She has done this many times." 

"I am afraid that this time around, however, the situation is a bit more serious," said Robert with a solemn expression. "We went to the apartment where she has been living for the past few days and we found out that your mother never returned last night." 

He paused before asking the obvious question that must have been playing in his mind for a while now, "Did you talk or see your mother yesterday evening?" 

Ariana had spent the entire night going through her own little interrogation last night in her mind. Thus, now that this question was put forth in front of her, she was rather calm. She said to the man, "No. I didn't see her last night."
