Capítulo 301: Countdown to the revelation

Ariana raised her head and looked at the man who was holding her hand. Her heart thumped lightly as she slowly looked away from Nicolai who was not facing her. But made no move to pull her hand away from him. 

Because she was worried that she might end up doing something that Ariana knew that she would regret. 

Since she couldn't do anything about Ariel trying to win the sympathy of others, Ariana tuned her out. 

Don't think about her.

Stop listening to what was going on around her. 

This had worked every time in the past, and it worked this time around as well but at that moment Ariana instead of focusing on the smallest speck of dirt, she was focusing on the warm hand that was covering her own.

"It seems like you are quick on jumping to conclusions just as you are jumping in the arms of a married man," Nicolai smilingly said to Ariel, who raised her head and looked at him through teary eyes.
