He was really worried that she would run away from him again, so he tidied himself up and followed her steps. To his surprise, Gu Xijiu was actually busy preparing him a bath. His heart grew warm at what he saw.

He realized that his change of mood was a little dramatic. He would immediately feel good, as though every little thing that she did was magic.

Gu Xijiu was there, sitting on her bed. She could see Celestial Master Zuo taking a bath in her house as she looked across the curtain.

She tried to calm her mind by meditation. Just when she got onto the bed, she could hear Di Fuyi's voice coming from behind the curtain, "Do you have [1] Yun Ling?"

The herb was specially made for baths. Gu Xijiu had it, but she could never have expected that Di Fuyi would use it as well. 

"I do." 

"Send one for me."
