Capítulo 96: So Not Careful

The sun was setting as it was wintertime, and nighttime came quickly. It was almost time for dinner and after a long and cold day outside, Daphne and Lucifer were in their carriage returning to the Black manor.

The carriage came to a stop in front of the large building, where the snow had created a thin sheet of white along the marble floor already.

Daphne jumped off of the carriage after Lucifer, squinting her eyes together slightly as the snow was still falling. Then, the two of them entered the manor. 

Inside, many maids were carrying things around, preparing for Calanthe's birthday party, which was happening soon. It seemed like Master Black really did not want to lose to the Devlin's party, and he had spent a lot of money and effort into preparing a grand celebration for Calanthe.
