Capítulo 51: Injured (1)

He looked around, all of the witches dead or suffering on the ground, and just as he turned around to look at Daphne, he heard a gasp as he saw from the corner of his eye a rush of something black surge towards the figure behind the tree.

There was no time for him to clearly see what it was, but he knew she was in danger. He rushed over, practically gliding through the ground. The witch's outstretched nails were a few inches away from Daphne's face when Lucifer reached his arm out.

There was not enough time for him to attack back, and the sharp and hideous nails slashed through Lucifer's suit, cracking straight through it as she slid it up, the nail gashing through his skin as it created a deep cut.

Unlike the witch, Lucifer's blood was red as it immediately flowed out of his arm, dirtying his suit. The rain mixed with the blood, and the impact from the rain worsened the cut as more blood flowed out like a waterfall.
