"Prince Elif, Young Mistress Eyvor, your nine-leafed clover has arrived." Said the human woman while slowly opening the door and wheeling in the nine-leafed clover placed inside a beautiful blue box.
"Thank you, here is the ten-" Said Eyvor calmly with slight traces of excitement, though her excellent mood quickly disappeared after checking her dimension ring.
"Is something wrong, Eyvor?" Asked Birger after noticing Eyvor's weird expression.
'T-This is an incredibly embarrassing and shameful thing to ask, but could you possibly lend me ten spirit stones, Birger? I promise to repay you.' Asked Eyvor via divine sense, looking at Birger while her cheeks blushed from embarrassment.
'Sure, I don't mind. It's only ten spirit stones anyway.' Replied Birger in a weird tone of voice via divine sense as he was about to pay for the nine-leafed clover, but someone beat him to it.
"Stop fretting over something so minuscule, Eyvor; here are your ten spirit stones." Remarked Elif, casually tossing one low Immortal spirit stone to the human woman, causing her to almost not catch it from shock.
"P-P-Prince Elif, this is an Immortal tier spirit stone; I-I can't possibly accept this; not even one-hundred nine-leafed clovers are worth this much." Said the human woman in shock while holding the spirit stone carefully, wanting to return it to Elif, but she also didn't wish to go against what he said.
"I know, lady, but I'm sure you have some treasury here, right? Just exchange that spirit stone with some lesser ones while keeping the cost of the nine-leafed clover and give me the rest." Replied Elif, with a wave of his hand, not even bothering to look at the human.
The lady didn't continue arguing and quickly left after lightly bowing toward me.
"My apologies that you had to do that. I normally don't have to buy anything since I'm the heir; everything I need or want will be brought to me quickly; still, I will ask father to repay you." Said Eyvor as she looked at Elif, blushing from shame, embarrassment, and something else.
"Didn't I say, stop fretting over something so small, Eyvor? It was merely ten mid-God spirit stones; I wouldn't even bat an eye at them if there were thousands of them lying on the ground. So stop worrying about it, and let's continue paying attention to the auction." Responded Elif in a no-discussion-tone-of-voice while watching the auction for the following item.
Eyvor no longer brought up the matter regarding the nine-leafed clover and just accepted it; while I understood where she came from since I would rather not have taken the nine-leafed clover than have someone else pay for it in my stead, it was still only ten mid-God spirit stones. I don't even have ten high-god spirit stones, let alone ten mid-God spirit stones; that's just how worthless they are to me, though I should probably start carrying around God spirit stones, as having to always exchange my Immortal spirit stones is quite an inconvenience.
With the auction continuing, we would converse amongst each other while Birger would bid for anything that he wanted, and though I'm sure Eyvor wished to bid, she didn't want to rely on me paying; however, sadly, there was nothing that I thought was interesting, everything either did not intrigue me, or they were auctioning off items I knew I could find the treasury. This boring auction continued for roughly two hours before it was finally time to auction off the mystery item. However, my interest was already at an all-time low, so I wasn't paying really attention.
"Alright, everyone, we've reached the end of the auction, but before we do, we have one more thing to auction off, a mystery item, something that even I have no clue what it is; all I know is that it is in incredibly scarce and precious." Said Ace, managing to grab the attention of everyone at the auction house while many began fantasizing about winning it, even before they knew the item's contents.
"The final item that'll be auctioned off for the month is a pill, and not just any pill; no, this is an Immortal tier pill!" Said Ace as he opened the container behind him, revealing the Immortal Pill in all its glory, causing everyone in the auction house to get shocked, including him and Elif.
"W-What, an Immortal tier Pill!? That, there is no way they're actually auctioning off an Immortal tier pill, right?" Asked Birger out of reflex from shock, as anything categorized as Immortal almost never appears in an auction; even God-tier Items are infrequent.
"Now, this is very interesting." Muttered Elif while also feeling quite shocked at the revelation.
However, before the auction could continue, several people from the seats below, and even some from the private booths, quickly charged their way toward the Immortal Pill on stage, yet, they didn't get far before they simultaneously collapsed on the ground; none of them showing any signs of life.
"Anyone else wishes to make a foolish mistake?" Coldly said a human woman with a veil covering her face while floating above the stage, the same lady that had attended Elif, Eyvor, and Birger.
"Continue." Muttered the women before suddenly vanishing from the spot.
With her gone, I could sense the tense atmosphere slowly dissipating, but still, no one tried anything stupid since the ones who did were still lying dead on the ground as reminders.
"All that is known about this pill is that it's a mid-Immortal tier pill, and starting prices shall begin at ten mid-Immortal spirit stones." Said Ace quickly, though nothing was said for a while when he finished.
'Well, great, I don't have any mid-immortal spirit stones; all of mine are low-immortal; how do they expect anyone to bid for this pill if even I can't bid on it?' Thought Elif, slightly annoyed at finding something interesting, only for it to be just out of his reach.
'No need to worry, Elif; I've already called Illumia to gather the necessary spirit stones; just start bidding.' Said Maria via divine sense; even from such a distance, the pill couldn't escape her senses.
'You sure, mother? Even though we have an abundance of mid and high-Immortal spirit stones, they aren't easy to come by?' Asked Elif via divine sense.
'Yes, don't worry, an Immortal pill is much more valuable than some spirit stones; make sure to acquire the pill no matter the cost.' Said Maria seriously before her voice vanished.
From how serious mother sounded, I didn't continue idly waiting and immediately bided for the pill, making sure to start off strong as well.
"One-thousand spirit stones." Said Elif, causing everyone, except for a few people, to gasp in shock from the sheer amount of wealth being casually thrown around; however, to the surprise of many, someone actually bid against Elif.
"Two-thousand spirit stones." Said a deep voice coming from one of the private booths as the glass wall lost its tint, allowing everyone to view an onyx-colored Golem, though what most paid attention to was the silver medallion attached to his waist that had a Sphere symbol.
'The Immortal Golem Empire, It's the first time I heard that booth speak. However, if he was sent to acquire the pill, then that means they knew of it beforehand, so then I'm sure every other Immortal hegemony sent someone in their stead as well; even the Immortal Dragon Clan most likely sent someone, though considering anyone affiliated with the Immortal Dragon Clan is forbidden within the Empire, I'm sure they are merely hiding their identity. However, it now makes sense why the Realm Auction house would auction off an Immortal item; they most likely got pressured by the Immortal hegemonies once news got leaked.' Thought Elif, as he witnessed another private booth that's been silent the entire night bid for the Immortal pill.
"Four-thousand spirit stones." Said a beautiful woman who, while looking very similar to a human, was, in fact, a Beast, though the black tail, claws, and fluffy ears were a dead giveaway; and just like the Golem, she had a green medallion hanging on her waist with the symbol of a claw.
"Five-thousand spirit stones." Said another beautiful woman, who once again looked similar to a human, but the blue skin, webbed hands, scales, and gills on the side of her neck were an obvious sign she was an Atlantean, and on her blue medallion that hung from her waist, was a symbol of a wave.
"Tch, Seven-thousand spirit stones." Said a man with horns, leathery wings, red skin, and claws as he clutched his seat in annoyance, while a red medallion that hung on his waist had a symbol of a black halo.
"Ten-thousand spirit stones." Said an old man with incredibly luxurious clothes, a long beard, and a serene smile, all while eyeing everyone else. Though, the white medallion that hung on his waist with the symbol of a sword didn't go unnoticed either.
"Eleven-thousand spirit stones." Said a Dragon eyeing Elifs booth while currently taking the form of a human. Though he didn't have any medallion which showed his affiliation, it was apparent to all that he belonged to the Immortal Dragon Clan.
"Immortal Golem Empire, Immortal Demon Sect, Immortal Ocean Clan, Immortal Heavenly Empire, Immortal Beast Sect, and Immortal Dragon Clan; my oh my, quite the shocking surprise." Muttered Elifs while observing each booth in great interest.
Yolo! My bad on the late upload.
