Capítulo 313: Chapter 313: Sarah's Struggle
Exiting the carriage after having spent some quality time with my two lustful concubines, I sat down on my throne while Sarah and Illumia stood beside me on either side; their faces were slightly blushed from our short little session, but other than that, they looked completely normal. Glancing at Mandy, I gestured for her to approach me, and before she could even open her mouth to speak, I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto my lap as her small butt rested against my crotch.
"Don't speak, just enjoy it, Mandy." Said Elif softly as he placed his finger atop Mandy's mouth, causing her to hesitantly nod with a deep blush.
Shifting my focus from Mandy to the hundred ethereal steps leading to the sky, I ignored the hundreds of people walking up the steps and focused on Ember, Idonea, and Marley, who were all leading the pack with only a few other cultivators near them.
"Hmm, how long has passed? It has been an hour at most, correct?" Asked Elif lightly with a raised eyebrow as he gazed at his three servants while his hand lightly stroked Mandy's thighs, deepening her blush.
"Yes, I believe so; we weren't sitting in the carriage for long, your Highness." Replied Sarah lightly with a nod as she glanced at the carriage before looking at Elif, who stuck his tongue out at her, causing her to gulp.
Chuckling at Sarah's lust-filled eyes, I shifted my focus back to my three servants and watched them slowly continue up the steps, taking their sweet time as they used a brief respite to compose themselves before taking the next step. However, despite the vastly different cultivation base between Marley, Idonea, and Ember, she could still stand beside them; granted, she seemed to be having a slightly more difficult time, but overall, it was hardly even noticeable.
Most of the cultivators who survived the previous round have already finished walking up the steps or are doing so right now; even Birger, Shelia, Goliath, Echo, and Eyvor were walking up the steps, though seeing how they were only in the thirties, they must've just started a few minutes ago at most; however, even so, they were practically flying through the thirties, and reached the forties within a minute, only to speedily pass the forties and reach the fifties.
There is supposed to be a significant jump in difficulty every ten steps, yet that didn't seem to be the case for them since the fifties hardly took any longer than the forties, and it was only when they reached the sixties that they noticeably slow down, though even still, they were moving rather swiftly compared to everyone else. In comparison, they had walked nearly thirty steps with ease within the last three minutes; Idonea, Marley, and Ember had only managed to take two steps in that time, which shows the rising difficulty.
"Which step do you think Marley, Idonea, and Ember will make it to your Highness?" Asked Sarah curiously as she glanced at Elif, who raised an eyebrow before adorning a thoughtful expression.
"That is a hard question, yet a good question, Sarah. Surprised it came from you." Muttered Elif lightly as he wrapped his arms around Mandy's waist while resting his chin atop her head as she was that short.
"Eh, what's that supposed to mean?" Asked Sarah with a frown as she narrowed her eyes at Elif while boldly poking his cheek, yet he promptly ignored her, causing her to huff in annoyance before eventually stopping.
"Hmm, despite Idonea and Marley both being Nobles, they've had particularly rough upbringings, at least, compared to their peers; well, I guess Marley technically isn't a noble anymore either, but minor details. Marley had always been trained to be perfect, and when she failed her usefulness, she was thrown away; as for Idonea, her father may not have been mentally and emotionally abusive, but he was definitely physically abusive, and considering she spent most of her time within the city she was originally from living like a peasant, I'd say they'll both reach a rather impressive step. Eighty at the least, though I'm hoping they tie with Illumia's and reach eighty-six." Remarked Elif thoughtfully as he narrowed his eyes at Marley and Idonea, watching them arrive on the seventy-ninth step while Ember trailed right behind them.
"Heh, I was hoping they'd reach the nineties, but considering not even Their Majesties could surpass the nineties, I'm merely wishfully thinking." Said Sarah lightly with a sheepish smile as she rubbed her head while chuckling
"Well, I hope they all reach the eighty-fifth step." Commented Illumia softly, her words causing Elif and Sarah to glance at her while both were smirking, causing her to blush faintly.
"Hehe, Miss Illumia must really want his Highness's reward." Whispered Sarah with a smirk as she looked at Illumia, who didn't even try to deny it, causing her to chuckle.
"Heh, what about you, Sarah? Don't you want a reward from your heavenly prince?" Asked Elif with a narcissistic smirk as he winked at Sarah, who surprisingly shook her head, causing him to raise an eyebrow.
'You already gave me a wonderful reward, Elif; you're very splendid with your tongue and made me orgasm several times.' Remarked Sarah with a lovely smile via divine sense as she looked at Elif, who faintly smirked.
"Heh, well, my efforts weren't in vain; I got to drink a delicious drink in return. Oh, and speaking of delicious drinks, I forgot to drink Elaine's tea; hmm, well, that's fine, I'll drink it after this round is over." Stated Elif with a smirk as he seductively licked his lips, causing Sarah to blush while he faintly frowned, only to gently shake his head.
Standing up with Mandy in my arms, I set her on the ground while slapping her butt before turning to Sarah and outstretching my hand toward her, which she promptly grabbed.
"Now, seeing how there aren't too many people remaining, I think it's about time for us to walk up those steps." Said Elif with a smirk as he gazed at Sarah, who rolled her eyes before nodding.
Pulling Sarah close to me, she reluctantly released my hand and walked by my side as we headed towards the steps, though while doing so, all eyes were drawn towards me; not even Elder Axzul was exempt from this as I noticed a spark of excitement shine in eyes, and I could tell that she, along with all the spectators, was expecting to see great things out of me, and of course, they weren't going to be disappointed.
"So tell me, Sarah, which step do you think I'll make it to?" Asked Elif with a faint smirk as he approached the ethereal steps while Sarah furrowed her brows with a thoughtful expression.
"Well, knowing your talents, pride, strength, narcissism, and incredible beauty, you'll obviously make it to the hundredth step." Replied Sarah lightly as she pointed at the hundredth step, causing Elif to smirk as he nodded.
"Heh, I expect nothing less from you, Sarah; it seems you wholeheartedly believe in your prince." Remarked Elif with a smile as he stopped just before the ethereal steps while glancing at Sarah, who nodded with a huff.
"But of course, your Highness, I'll always believe in you." Said Sarah earnestly with a lovely smile as she gazed at Elif, who genuinely smiled in response, causing hundreds of women, including Axzul, to blush deeply.
"Seems like someone is deserving of another reward." Muttered Elif with a smirk while Sarah faintly blushed with an expecting look, cousin Elif to chuckle.
Lightly shaking my head at my lustful yet highly adorable concubine, I gazed at the first step of the hundred before me, and with a deep breath, I stepped onto the first step, causing me to immediately feel as the steps exerted pressure onto my dao heart. Of course, as it was the first step, it was hardly even noticeable, but I still had ninety-nine steps ahead of me, so I'm sure it would eventually become difficult.
Glancing at Sarah, who stepped onto the first step, I saw her slightly furrow her brows before her expression returned to normal, causing me to nod as we both began walking up the various steps, reaching the tenth step within a minute and the twentieth step within two, though, although it was slight, once we reached the twenty-fifth step Sarah started to take longer, and when we stepped onto the thirtieth, she needed a few seconds between each step.
"Sorry, your Highness, I-I don't mean to slow you down with this shameful display; you can go on ahead of me." Said Sarah awkwardly as she glanced at Elif, who merely yawned with his hands behind his back.
"It's fine; I'm in no rush." Stated Elif lightly, shaking his head as he stepped onto the thirty-sixth step just as Sarah did.
Despite needing to take a little breather in between each step, we kept a steady pace, at least until we reached the fortieth step, where Sarah was beginning to show actual struggle; I could even see the sweat rolling down the side of her face as she stepped onto the forty-first step.
"Haa, y-your Highness, I-I don't think… I don't think I'm going to make it. I-I don't even know if I'll make it to the fiftieth step, l-let alone the seventieth." Remarked Sarah with a disappointed and ashamed expression as she arrived at the forty-second step while leaning over and breathing heavily.
Although I didn't really like Sarah's pessimism, I didn't think she was wrong; the fiftieth step was probably her limit, if not very close to it. However, I had already thought of a solution while I was pleasing Sarah and Illumia's womanhood with my mouth and tongue.
"Elder Axzul, we only need to make it to the seventieth step, correct?" Asked Elif as he shifted his focus towards Axzul, his suspicious words catching everyone by surprise while she raised an eyebrow before nodding.
"Yes. All you must do is reach the seventieth step, Prince Elif." Replied Axzul softly with a nod, her words causing Elif to faintly smirk.
