Capítulo 234: Chapter 234: Parents & Children Alike
"Eh?" Said Elaine in surprise as she looked at Elif, who was gazing deeply into her silver eyes.
"You heard me, Elaine; I've let go of any inhibitions. I wish to become one with you tonight and make love with you until morning, no until morning of the next day." Stated Elif clearly as he started kissing Elaine's neck and collarbone while squeezing her butt that was pressed against his erect shaft.
"I-I-I need to go!" Yelled Elaine as she suddenly removed herself from Elif's lap and grabbed the silver tray, storing it in her dimension ring before dashing out with a troubled expression while Maxim followed right behind her.
Watching Elaine leave, I was so stunned by her response that I didn't even react until she had already left the room; appearing just outside the door, I saw her make a left down the hall, ignoring the greetings from the guests, who all gave her weird looks.
'What just happened?' Mused Elif in complete confusion as he rubbed his head while staring down the hallway Elaine had disappeared into.
Out of all the possible scenarios that ran through my mind of what would happen after I informed Elaine, the most likely outcome was of us becoming one right then and there, yet I never did think she would run away; the only positive I can take out of this was she didn't seem angry or upset. If anything, she looked surprised and a little troubled.
"Your Highness? Did you talk with Her Highness regarding that subject?" Asked Illumia in confusion as she glanced down the hall before looking at Elif, who wordlessly nodded.
"If that's so, why is Her Highness running away and not making love with you currently?" Added Illumia in even more confusion.
"Haa, I wish I knew the answer to your question as well, Illumia. I don't think I've ever been so confused in my life before today; this will definitely be a birthday to remember." Said Elif with a sigh as he rubbed and shook his head, feeling lost on what to do next.
I was tempted to follow after Elaine, but she had hidden herself in her room, so the likelihood of her responding to me was rather low; with that, I just decided to head to the dining hall as it was morning, so I was sure it would be filled with some people.
'Maybe I could ask Mother or Grandmother about what's wrong with Elaine; maybe it's a woman thing.' Mused Elif with a slight shake of his head as he closed the door behind him and headed toward the dining hall with a pondering expression.
Entering the dining hall, I saw tens of people sitting down, all from different backgrounds, conversing with each other; most were behaving with decorum, though there were a few unruly people, but even then, they didn't do anything out of line, they were just acting rather rough and more obscene. However, shortly after I entered, everyone, with the woman in front, walked and greeted me while congratulating me on my birthday, which I reciprocated with a slight smile as I was in a pretty good mood. Elaine wasn't angry with me; Mother and Father seemed to have gotten over something from their past, it was my birthday, and I'd be becoming one with Elaine tonight; what was there not to be happy about?
"Thank you as well, Kurama, and I must add, what lovely red tails you have." Said Elif with a soft smile as he boldly grabbed one of Kurama's nine tails while her fiancé watched from the side with a constantly twitching expression, though he stayed quiet.
"Prince E-Elif, touching my t-tails is something o-only my husband i-is allowed to do." Replied Kurama shyly with blushed cheeks as she looked at Elif, though she didn't move a muscle despite her words.
"Oh, is that so? Well, then, aren't I lucky?" Remarked Elif with a sensual smile as he continued stroking Kurama's tail with a raised eyebrow, though just when the fiancé was about to say something, two people suddenly appeared sitting at the front of the dining table.
Sensing Mother and Father, I saw them sitting on the two thrones at the front of the table, though the way they behaved was unlike anything I'd ever seen. Mother was lovingly grabbing onto Father's arm while he occasionally planted kisses on her head, causing her to smile like a young girl in love.
"Oh my, I haven't seen Her Majesty behave like that in so long; such a sight brings back memories." Said Illumia with a slight smile as she observed Marcus and Maria's interactions.
"And I've never seen Mother behave like that; this is new to me, and it's also slightly uncomfortable." Replied Elif as he watched Maria and Marcus behave like a newlywed couple, causing everyone in the dining hall to be slightly taken aback, though, unlike Elif, they got used to it quickly.
"Didn't know the Emperor and Empress behaved like such."
"It's not that surprising; they are lovers, after all."
"You're not wrong, but it's just not what I expected when I envisioned the Emperor and Empress of the Elven Empire."
"Understandable
"If you could excuse me, Kurama, I need to go and speak with my parents; hopefully, we can talk sometime later." Said Elif with a smirk as he gently brushed aside Kurama's red hair, causing her heart to beat wildly, before walking past her, heading to Maria and Marcus.
"Y-Yes, P-Prince Elif, I-I'd like that too." Replied Kurama with a heavy blush as she gazed at Elif's leaving figure before she and her fiancé got into a slightly heated argument.
Approaching Mother and Father, I greeted a few more people with a simple nod before sitting on the smaller throne on the right side of the table, closer to Father, while Elaine sat just opposite of me on the left side, near Mother.
"Seems like you two have a wonderful night, Mother and Father." Remarked Elif with a slight smile as he sat down, his words causing Maria and Marcus to break out of their own little world and look at Elif.
"We sure did; I haven't felt this happy since the birth of you and Elaine. I've also managed to loosen my cultivation; I should be able to advance to the Peak of the True God Emperor Realm within the next few decades or so." Replied Marcus with a large smile of relief as he looked at Elif before kissing Maria on the head, causing her to chuckle softly.
"Heh, well, I'm glad to hear that, Father, though I'll add, the way you're behaving, Mother, is very familiar. I just can't quite put my finger on it." Remarked Elif with a smile as he furrowed his brows and looked at Maria intently.
"This is how I used to always behave with Marcus before that incident; ever since then, your Father would always keep a slight distance from me. But not anymore; now that he's finally overcome his heart demon, I'll force him to make up all the loving times we missed." Stated Maria with a lovely smile as she looked at Elif before glaring at Marcus and tightening her grip around his arm, causing him to laugh.
"Of course, Maria, I promise I'll compensate you for the wasted eons." Said Marcus with a soft smile as he picked up Maria and set her in his lap while gently rubbing her head, prompting her to snuggle deeper into his embrace.
"Hmph, you better; if you don't, I'm kicking you out of the Empire for a year." Said Maria with a slight pout, causing Marcus to merely smile.
"You're always so beautiful when you're angry, Maria." Muttered Marcus lightly, eliciting a small smile from Maria.
Watching my parents interact, I was getting a weird but powerful sense of déjà vu, though I couldn't fathom why that was the case; however, I wasn't given much time to think as I heard the adorable voice of my gorgeous little sister.
"Brother, there you are; I've been looking all over for you." Said Elaine with a slight pout as she walked toward Elif and sat in his lap, not caring for the numerous eyes of envy directed her way.
"I should be the one asking you that; after I spoke with you, you just suddenly ran off. Also, you're always so stunning when you pout, Elaine." Remarked Elif with a slight smirk as he looked down at Elaine and gently rubbed her head, causing a small smile to grace her face.
"Hehe, sorry about earlier, Brother; what you said had surprised me so much I didn't know how to react, so I took off running." Replied Elaine lightly with a lovely chuckle as she snuggled deeper into Elif's embrace.
"But, about what you said, w-were you being serious, Brother?" Asked Elaine hesitantly as she looked up at Elif, worried everything she had heard was only her mind playing tricks on her.
"Of course, Elaine, who else would I want for my birthday? Illumia? Marley? Mandy? Idonea?" Remarked Elif with a slight smirk as he shook his head, missing Elaine's eyes turning dark black for a split second before returning to its bright silver.
"No; you're only allowed to do it with me, Brother." Declared Elaine with a charming smile as she kissed Eif.
"And you're only allowed to do it with me, Elaine." Stated Elif, caring little for the spectators as he and Elaine passionately kissed.
"Tch, lucky bitch."
"Fucking little girl."
"Urgh, why does she get to taste Prince Elif's lips!?"
"Not fair!"
"I wish I was her."
