Feeling Elaine tighten the hug, I looked down at her while raising my eyebrow, though, from our positions, I couldn't see her face, so I had no idea what was on her mind.
"Hmm, you sure you're okay, Elaine? Did something happen that angered you?" Asked Elif in slight concern as he rubbed Elaine's head, his affectionate love soothing Elaine's heart that beat in anger, causing her to display a lovely smile.
"Hehe, I can't ever hide anything from you, can I, Brother?" Replied Elaine with a slight chuckle, her anger dissipating as she looked up at Elif.
"Heh, of course not, my dear little sister; I'm your elder Brother; I know you better than anyone." Remarked Elif with a lovely grin as he ruffled Elaine's hair before poking her nose, causing her to pout, while Elif just laughed; their interactions caused many passing servants to look at them in envy.
"Hmph, why must you ruffle my hair, Brother? You know I hate it when you do that; now I must fix it." Said Elaine with a frown as she stopped hugging Elif and fixed her hair while Elif just watched with a large smile.
"Hehe, my apologies, little sister; allow me to cheer you up." Said Elif with a smirk as he walked behind Elaine before reaching down and grabbing her thighs, following with him, lifting her up over his head and resting her perfectly on his shoulders.
With Elaine on my shoulders, I repositioned my hands on her thighs to keep her stabilized, not like I actually needed to; I just really loved the feeling of my hands groping Elaine's thick thighs as I could vividly feel the soft sensation of my fingers digging into her flesh. I wandered aimlessly through the palace, though I did make sure to steer clear of that Nympho Nerthus as I had a feeling things would end badly if Elaine and her met in a more private setting.
"So, what angered you, Elaine?" Asked Elif calmly with a joyful smile as he walked through the place halls while Elaine got looks of envy from every passing maid, though whenever the maids met her eyes, they all cowered in fear.
"It's nothing of concern, Brother; while I was showing the Fairy Clan to their assigned hall, I just happened to overhear some maids rudely speaking about you." Replied Elaine with a shake of her head as she played with Elif's hair, focusing on the purple streak in his lustrous silver hair.
"Hmm, really? Maids? That's unexpected; I'm surprised maids, of all people, would speak rudely about me." Remarked Elif with a raised eyebrow as he glanced at a passing maid, winking at her, causing the woman to adorn blush while Elain glared at her.
"Haa. Yes, Brother, they kept speaking about your body in inappropriate ways, such as wanting to lick you clean with their tongues." Said Elaine, taking a deep breath to calm herself before speaking, though her words only caused Elif to chuckle.
"Hehe, that's not speaking rudely, Elaine; they're speaking like every royal maid. I'm surprised you've only now noticed how infatuated the maids are with me." Replied Elif lightly as he looked at a young maid, who merely blushed at his mere appearance, causing Elaine to clench her fists in anger while glaring at the young woman.
"Hoo, hoo. Even so, Brother, they are mere maids; they shouldn't be thinking like that about you at all, let alone having the audacity to actually utter such words. The only one who has the right to talk about you in such a way is me, and me only; not even Mother can speak about you like that." Declared Elaine seriously as she leaned forward and looked into Elif's eyes, who merely did the same.
"It's fine, Elaine; you worry too much; besides, do you think you're the only one dealing with it? I've happened to overhear some butlers speaking about you in a more vulgar way, so I know exactly how you feel." Said Elif, slightly smiling before frowning as he remembered that encounter, surprising Elaine at such news.
"Hmm, when did this happen, Brother, and how come I have only now learned about it?" Asked Elaine as she straightened herself out and looked at a passing butler who constantly took glances at her.
"It happened a little over two years ago, around the time when you started to develop a more womanly body; why you've never noticed the looks some butlers give you? I don't know; it's probably cause you're too fixated on the maids." Remarked Elif with a slight smirk as he placed one of his hands on Elaine's butt, lightly squeezing it while she just smiled, enjoying his touch, even if it wasn't directly on her skin.
"You should've seen how livid he was, Your Highness, when he overheard them speaking about you; His Highness looked ready to kill them on a moment's notice." Stated Illumia calmly as she looked at Elaine, who smiled lovingly at her words, while Elif slightly blushed in embarrassment.
"Hmph, you didn't need to say that, Illumia." Said Elif as he glared at Illumia, who just smirked in response.
"I could say the same thing, Illumia; there have been many occasions where I was required to pacify Her Highness; if not, I'm confident at least half of the current maids would be either dead or in the royal dungeon." Remarked Maxim with a wry smile, remembering all the times he had calmed Elaine down.
"Hmph, I still think I should've killed them all." Declared Elaine with a huff as she folded her arms, causing Elif to chuckle while shaking his head.
"Since you two are on this topic, your Highness, has His Highness ever told you the reason why he nearly killed Edvin when he visited the Fairy Clan?" Said Illumia with a smirk as she looked up at Elaine, who shook her head in response, while Elif clicked his tongue in anger at that name being mentioned.
"No, I had asked him multiple times, but he always refused me, saying he didn't wish to speak about it; eventually, I forgot about it, though since you've brought it up, I assume it has something to with me?" Replied Elaine, her words causing Illumia's smirk to deepen while Elif turned around and glared at her.
'Illumia.' Said Elif calmly via divine sense while glaring at Illumia, though she ignored his warning and recounted the details of the banquet in detail.

"...After that, we returned to the floating island, where His Highness isolated himself for a few days to calm down." Said Illumia, having finished retelling the events during the Fairy Clans' banquet, though instead of Elaine smiling as one would think, she was frowning.
"Tch, great, you've just ruined my mood, Illumia; you know I dislike it when that name is mentioned." Remarked Elif as he looked at Illumia in annoyance.
"Hmm, so, does that mean the only reason why Edvin is still living is because of Eyvor?" Muttered Elaine with a frown while madness started to form within her beautiful silver eyes.
"I suppose you could say so." Said Elif, though his words only served to increase the madness floating about within Elaine's eyes as she closed her eyes and suddenly smiled.
"Thanks for informing, Illumia; for this, I shall slightly lessen your punishment for kissing Brother." Commented Elaine, the swirling madness within her eyes ever apparent as she looked at Illumia, who looked back into her eyes, her suspicions about Elaine confirming themselves.
'Haa, I was right; Her Highness is one of those women, a yandere, and a dangerous one as well. I should start keeping my distance from His Highness. She isn't a threat to my life yet, but one day, she will become the Empress, and Yanderes aren't the type of women to forget things.' Mused Illumia as she looked at Elaine's back, though instead of seeing a beautiful princess, all she could see now was a murderous psychopath who would do anything for Elif.
With illumia ruining my mood, I headed to my room to take a bath, hopefully improving my mood; the walk towards my room didn't take too long, and after several silent minutes, we eventually arrived at my room. Picking up Elaine, I gently set her on the ground and was about to ask her to join me, even though I knew what was going to happen, but before I could even open my mouth to speak, she kissed me.
"Sorry, Brother, I just remembered something important I must do. Maxim, let's go." Said Elaine as she released the kiss before turning around and walking away while Maxim followed right behind her.
'Weird.' Thought Elif as he watched Elaine turn down a hall, disappearing from his view.
Shaking my head, I entered my room and saw Eyvor calmly sitting on one of my chairs in the corner of my room, which did slightly surprise me, but nevertheless, I sighed in relief, knowing it at least wasn't that nympho Nerthus.
"Ahh, Prince Elif, you've returned, eh? Is now not a good time?" Said Eyvor with a light smile as she floated towards Elif, though when she saw his annoyed expression, she hesitated, thinking she may be the reason for his annoyance.
"It's fine; Illumia just said some things that annoyed me, so I intended to bathe. Illumia, where are Marley and Idonea?" Replied Elif with a shake of his head before looking at Illumia as he walked towards his bath while taking off his clothes, causing Eyvor to blush when she saw his bare upper body.
"They are both out searching for a present for your birthday, your Highness." Replied Illumia, her words causing Elif to huff in annoyance.
"Then who is supposed to tend to me while I'm bathing?" Remarked Elif as he folded his arms and looked at Illumia.
"Well, I cou-" Said Illumia, though Elif cut her off before she could finish speaking.
"No, you're the reason for my annoyance; I don't want to bathe with you." Stated Elif, his words causing Illumia to chuckle, seemingly already having anticipated his response.
"Um, i-i-if you d-don't m-mind, P-P-Prince E-Elif, i-i'll t-tend to y-you." Declared Eyvor quietly with a deep blush, her words surprising both Illumia and Elif.
