Capítulo 23: chapter 22: Grand magical skills improvements & new spells
after the quick meeting with the God on their Champions I started to improve my magic skills even further. surprisingly as I was practicing necromancy I noticed rise dead and create Undead after a notification popped up.
" congratulations your rise dead and create Undead spell have fused creating 'necromancer's will' you're Undead capacity has been risen from 100 to 250 . you've also gamed 1 blank necromancy spell token & 2 blank spell tokens."
this caught me completely by surprise as then I began to read the new spell description.
" necromancer's will with your great understanding of necromancy you no longer have to think about raising a course as an undead. just by looking at a course they will rise as an undead as well as you're capable of creating skeletons out of thin air."
I started laughing to myself smiling as I was currently in the mausoleum of the Fortress. I then looked at the new spell list that I had access to. and there were only two spells to the fourth Spell tear of necromancy. the first one was called 'undeath ritual' and the second one was called ' Sigil of Grimm' I started to read the description of undeath ritual to myself.
" undeath ritual with this spell you are capable of creating a Nexus of Mana drawing from the negative energy of battle this energy can be used towards creating Undead. it provides a 5% increase in power of the caster and Undead in all stats."
I quickly learned that spell then I moved my eyes over to Grimm sigil to read its description.
" Grimm sigil gives the Caster the capacity to create second stage evolved Undead animals. warning animals created by this spell will be slightly harder to control. second stage Undead animals include zombie dire wolves, zombie Great Bear, ghoul Hound, at the base level of novice
I chose to learn this spell as well finding it to be useful. I closed the necromancers spell tree list as then I thought of which of the other two should I go to next. then I decided to choose lightning. I have learned just thinking about the spell list would open it up so I didn't have to say it out loud and then the Lightning Spell list appeared I had gone to we're a tier 3 unlocked and tier 3 had three different spells for me to choose from so I began to read them. the first spell was 'rain' the second spell was 'arcing electricity' and the last spell I had to choose from was called 'lightning trap' I read the description of them in order the first one was called rain.
" rain is a spell that will make the user change the weather to rainy weather increasing the effectiveness of electricity Magic giving these types of spells a plus 10% damage boost. warning the electricity can hurt you as well."
then I looked over to arcing electricity.
" arcing electricity bolt of electricity that would hit a Target and then proceeded to spread to two other Targets near the initial Target. go when the electricity arcs it will only be half as strong. warning this spell can hurt friendly allies."
then lastly I looked over to lightning trap which I could probably guess what it was.
" lightning trap the user will shoot electricity towards the ground balls or roof and it will create a small spell circle when an enemy goes near it will explode in a burst of electricity. morning allies can trigger this trap."
I didn't like any of the Lightning Spell so I closed it and went to necrosis spell left this one I have gotten up to tier 4 just like necromancy. I saw a notification pop-up when I open this spell list and I read that.
" congratulations you have receive the perk 'necrotic aura'( tier 1) any Undead in a 20 ft radius will get a 5% increase to all stats."
as I looked around me I can notice a slight green aura around me then I look to necrosis to spell list. I saw only two spells at the very least I was happy. the first spell was called 'necrosis curse' and the second one was called 'necrotic fire' I read the description of necrotic curse first.
" necrotic curse this spell gives the Caster the ability to place a curse on an enemy as long as the Caster is alive and has Mana still in their manifold they can cause the person they placed a curse on to slowly die when they die their bodies will be imbued with necrotic energy. is necrotic energy will be present even if they are turned into an undead any Undead aided in creation with this effect will be able to drain the life-force from enemies and begin to kill their undying body."
then I started to look at a necrotic fire description.
" necrotic fire unlike normal Flames these Flames cannot be put out by water only holy magic or healing Magic. are capable of extinguishing the flames the Flames also have poison in diseases impudence them allowing cause the affected a quicker death after the target is dead the Flames will attempt to spread towards any other living being once but it will never attempt to spread to an undead. warding the Flames can attempt to spread to the casters living allies."
I sat quietly for a few moments considering my options as I look at words that you spells I decided to learn necrotic curse. I then received a new notification.
" congratulations you have three skeletons ready to evolve what is your decision?"
without much thinking about the decision I answered the system.
" I would like two of those skeleton become skeleton Warriors and the remaining skeleton they become a mage."
as I said this another notification.
" what type of maids do you wish the skeleton become currently with your knowledge and everyone within your town not and it has four choices a storm Mage a necromancer a necrosis Castor and finally a pyromancer."
this caught me by surprise so apparently I could choose what type of Mage the skeleton became I looked at the four options for a few moments and then I spoke.
" necrosis Castor"
I received another notification then I thought about what to do with Paarthurnax.
" Choice confirmed and congratulations you have now to skeleton Warriors and one necrosis Caster skeleton"
I've been thought about Paarthurnax then I asked.
" what are the next evolutions for Paarthurnax?"
system made a sound that I knew all too well.
" Will Champion there are 2 evolutions remaining for Paarthurnax. these are the final evolution this Sunday will be able to go through the first is the 'Lich King' and the second is the 'Lich General BattleMaster'."
I smiled as I made a blank spell token that I had saved for the time I would want to sacrifice 1 to force a Undead to evolve.
" tell me about these two options."
without skipping a beat system began to speak.
" let's discuss the first one the Lich King this Undead is it powerful necromancer wielding a heavy armor and a one-handed mace. they can be considered one of the most powerful Undead for there combat ralis not just knowing necromancy but also necrosis magic. so they're less bulky than their counterpart they are still extremely dangerous. now we go on to the Lich General BattleMaster. this Undead focused list on the art of necromancy and more on The Art of War. they I have mastered the art of using a heavy one handed mace in combination of very heavy armor being extremely bulky compared to the Lich King and being capable of stealing the life force from whoever is wounded by them regenerating their wounds at extremely fast-paced necromancers would use these Undead to help cover the entire armies specifically the last great Necromancer that cause Terror for 300 years any was the downfall of the great Empire that ruled 500 years ago was led by one of these Undead. they are extremely loyal to their masters having fought by their masters size for many years even close to centuries and have followed their masters not out of being controlled but out of loyalty."
I smiled hearing this as I would speak to Paarthurnax.
" come to me"
I sat down on my throne that I had built in the mausoleum as I watch the stairs as I heard loud footsteps it was Paarthurnax and with a smile I hold up a coin and spoke as soon as he kneeled before me.
" Paarthurnax evolve to Lich General BattleMaster."
I sat there watching at the coin evaporated into dust and flow towards Paarthurnax as I saw a black as night energy flow from he grew a foot taller now he was about eight foot tall his armor looked even heavier then before he is Mace once seeming like a powerful tool compares to nothing what it looks like now it was large about five feet long and probably weighed twice as much as his previous one his armor looked more engrave many different rooms his red eyes seemed to grow larger about the size of eyeballs as his helmet changed as well. from before you would expect from a captain of the Guard to what you would expect a general to wear when preparing for battle he spoke with a deep voice no longer sounding like a dead corpse it sounded like it came from a person a living person.
" thank you my Lord for evolving me once more. you have always showed me kindness so I will serve Faithfully."
a small tear came rolling down my face as I remembered how Paarthurnax began as a basic zombie who I had training against skeletons to grow stronger to this massive Behemoth of Killing power. I then spoke to him.
" I promote you to the rank of General you share the same rank as Leo & Drake"
I said this with a smile as I wipe away the tears Paarthurnax do it up and I could tell he was happy just from his thoughts alone.
" now for your first order as your new promotion take some skeletons and have them trained against each other the same as the zombies if one dies resurrect them and continue the training until I say otherwise"
Paarthurnax nodded as he began to make his way up the stairs having to lower his head about a foot for him to be able to not hit his head on the ceiling. then I noticed I had a new notification.
" congratulations you have attained two new perks."
I looked at the two new perks the first was called undying loyalty. the second perk was called Undead knowledge. I read them in the order I saw them.
" Undead loyalty any Undead in the vicinity of the undead Dean Paarthurnax will have a 100% increase in all their stats."
I Smile as I looked in the last one.
" Undead knowledge you will have 150% increase your ability to learn and Master Spells. as well as whenever you master spell you will gain double the amount of Rewards."
the two of them shocked me completely I love them as I Look To The Bone pile. skeleton started to form many of them were skeleton Warriors garbed in leather armor. some were Mages would with electricity and fire cracking off their hands and then some had a bone necklace around them which where are the necromancers all of the majors has hoods over their heads. then they were some of the skeleton direwolves. and when I looked over the last two skeletons they were skeleton deathless. standing before me kneeling.
" we are ready to serve"
I smiled as I've been looked over towards the corpses as they begin to rise they weren't as many five of them where zombie deathless but seem to be specializing in two one-handed weapons. then they were another to zombie deathless but they possessed crossbows. the rest ended up becoming basic zombies wearing armor I had looked at the deathless.
" my deathless take the rest to the training ground and look for Paarthurnax he will instruct you on what to do next."
with this the deathless led the undead towards the training grounds Define Paarthurnax I had known everyone in town didn't really care about the undead. because of the ritual done by the necromancer's Covenant then I saw after all the undead left the Covenant had appeared before me their leader kneeling with her followers behind her.
" oh great champion we have seen your powers have grown even greater what will you have us do."
I smiled at them as I spoke.
" you will begin to learn from Paarthurnax and his new stage of evolution to grow even stronger. I will have no use for any of you if you are weak."
I said this coldly as they all nodded and began to leave I started to do math in my head as I looked at Paarthurnax stats. it seemed like he had a minion capacity of 550. which blew my mind to be completely honest. combine that with my stat and we have a total of 800 Undead units ready to fight though we have nowhere near enough corpses to feel that at most and total we have 300 with the newly risen Undead. I began to stand up and make my way to the planning room at the Town Hall as I saw Helga standing before the fall and call to me......
