They only take a few minutes before. He could get to me and when paarthurnax I did smiled as I heard his voice
"paarthurnax I would like you to get the undead ready for battle and bring large mountains of bones with you we're going on a raid for a goblin camp as well make sure to bring oil barrels and any spare wood you can find and if you can't find any bring ax's to chop down trees"
without much hesitation paarthurnax did want was he was told he got them ready as fast as he could as I looked at luck
"all right now tell me what time of day are they most active?"
Look left a little bit about this "almost active during the time of Dawn and dusk" because I heard this I smiled it meant we had 12 hours to build barricade instead of trucks once we were set in place with a smile and as I stuck
"see if any of the living villagers we have or soldiers will be willing to chop down trees and build barricades for us"
Leo nodded and began to move towards town I began to move towards the tower I haven't visited it in what three to four days maybe more so it's would to be good to see the view from there again and it was a nice relaxing spot meaning I could use my second link easier as I walked up the steps I heard lovely singing when I looked at the source of the singing it was Luna quite possibly my future Queen to be or maybe not it depends how the future plays out I began to slowly clap to applaud her and her singing and she quickly stopped and spoke
"J-j-jack how long have you been there?" With a bit of laughter I smiled
"long enough"
her face was an adorable shade of pink I continue to talk sitting at one of the chairs at the table
"we haven't really talked lately so mine having a chat with me?"
Luna had a smile on her face I guess she been wanting to talk with me
"yes of course Jack I've been wanting to talk to you about something. something important that may interest you"
this honestly caught Jack's attention he raised an eyebrow
"really what is it?"
Luna clears her throat as she pulled out a letter
"the elves Homeland is under siege from undead and all elves have been called to assist in it's defense so we could use this at a chance to recruit some more elves from the Elvin home we are great archers as you could tell and I was the worst when I came to archery"
I would carefully consider this as it would be smart to help the elves out on this and it would gave us more favor with them but here is an issue with that we leave The village and the fort unprotected and who knows how far the elven Homeland is from this place not to mention myself uses undead to my advantage which would not be a good idea I couldn't bring my undead troops as well to help defend the elven Homeland simply because I could be accused of being the culprit behind their troubles and the reasoning why I helped them was to obtaining more political favor with them I simply think calmly as she could probably tell that I was not going to give this event an answer just yet Luna would speak
"I can tell you're probably not going to be able to give me an answer right now but I would like one eventually"
As she walked downstairs I start to think about if I should recruit more than just human and corpses into my army who am I going to conquer who am I going to outline with
"Now these are some good questions the Giants would definitely be a good choice to Ally with and recruit I could use them as living siege equipment what system told me about the doors I could recruit them to help with things are not always about Columbus such as making weapons armor mining and other things but the elves are a bit more in tune with magic if I recruit them I could learn a lot more than just the magics I have now and they're great archers so I could use them for sieges as well but I could also use monsters as throw away units and I can use some of the bigger monsters such as minotaurs as siege weapons as well"
I continue to think to myself as I could hear a voice in my head it sounded like paarthurnax calling to me through our mental link
"My Lord we have reached the destination you have told us about and we are beginning construction of barricades to keep the goblins within their tunnels we have also took in some of the rusty weapons from the battlefield 2 make traps it seems that they haven't even realized they were trapped and now we will be done in a few minutes with the traps and being done in about 3 hours for the barricade to be finish I will contact you again when we are done"
The news I just received a smile to my face I only sent them out an hour ago and now they're already there and preparing a barricade and traps and combining with the fact that I can use paarthurnax as they spell casting conduit I could take care of a lot of things not to mention after we clear out the goblin tribe or recruit them he should be ready to evolve once again which then made me think about what does the evolution of a deathless is
"System I have a question for you"
Without much effort system appeared it was different from before now she seemed to be some kind of pixie that I can visually see without notifications I looked her up and down she had skin like chocolate her eyes were a dazzling Ruby color her hair long kept in a ponytail and her wings were skeletal small pair of wings her nails were blue and her hair was white she opened her mouth and spoke
"What is your question my friend also do you like my new look?"
This caught me by surprise as then I would answer
"Yes I do it looks lovely and my question is what are the evolutions of the deathless"
She put her small hands to her face as she started to fly around when she stopped she looked at me with a smile
"Well there's only two evolutions of deathless but they are both extremely powerful compared to the other evolutions belonging to skeletons and zombies. The first these two evolutions is the deathless Knight they specialize in melee combat and all of their attacks do a necrotic damage fifth of their damage they do with their weapon the next evolution of the death list is called the Demi lich which is a fully sentient undead who is capable of casting powerful spells of necromancy and other forms of magic and also I would not recommend anointing either of these two evolutions they can possibly grow more powerful than you and break free from your control"
This caught my attention seriously and then I would smile as I thought of a few questions
"All right next question do they have any special bonuses that they can give me?"
Once again system seems to fly around as once again she stopped and spoke to me
"The deathless Knight has two bonuses it can give you it can increase your max capacity for undead minions and as well make your undead able to carry out more complex orders now the Demi lich has three bonuses I can give 20 minion increased to your Max capacity the next being it can in power other undead to do more damage run faster and increase their normal intelligence the final bonus it can give you is a special trait called lich love which prevents all undead regardless if they're controlled by you or by another necromancer perceiving you as an enemy"
I now knew what I was going to turn paarthurnax into not just because of the benefits but because this would make him being a commander much more effective not to mention I could really use him to gain a hold of more necromancy spells considering I either have to spend a blank spell token to get more or find someone who is able to teach me those spells I start to think more as then I want to know one more question
"If it's possible can you stay in this realm for long periods of time?"
This caught system's attention and she started spinning around thinking when she stopped she nodded
"Yes I can friend but I can't be in this form I have to possess someone else or something else"
I spoke without thinking
"Can you possess a undead?"
She simply nodded as I was surprised she didn't get offended by this
"Well you can go now I will have to think about other things until next time we see each other"
She nodded as she disappeared I would begin to make my way down the stairs I would want to call everyone together and get them to start moving towards the barricade of course luck and me will be the only ones actually going to there everyone else will be staying here defending the town then I began to think about something real interesting
"Could I anoint Leo? If I could then he could be much more useful to me but it does weaken me which is not something I can really afford right now I already weakened myself by anointing luck no more anointing anyone until I'm certain it will not affect my plans"
As I began to walk I noticed that luck was down at the bottom of the stairwell I approached him without much care
"What is it luck?"
He seems to be ready for a fight and has smile on his face
"I'm ready to go when you are"
I look confused as I would speak
"How did you figure we're going for a fight?"
He had a smile on his face as he pointed to his left eye which seems to be different at this point instead of the normal green eyes I once saw in both of his now there was one green and the other was pure red
"This is how master when you anoint your creature they can practically read your mind by judging from their eyes"
I smiled and nodded as I adjusted for him to follow me I started to make my way to the front gate of the fortress when I noticed all of my living soldiers were ready for a fight
"Not all of you are coming with me I need you all to stay here and protect the town just in case the other bandit tribes attack look and Luna will be coming with me Leon is in charge for now also Helga I would like you to talk to the mining family that moved into our town have them be ready to start mining in a few days we'll have a place set up for them also get the hunting family working on food to store up already then I would like this blacksmithing family to start building small walls around the village with the help of the rest of you I suspect we are going to have an attack from one of the bandit tribes while some of us are away so please stay vigilant"
They all seem to be in all that I was saying but they all understood so they all began to move out Luna approached me and luck
"Sounds like you're finally taking charge and not letting anyone slack off"
I smiled a bit as I walked to road of the village that led to the goblin tribes home and when they both were ready to begin marching out soon we will have a battle on our hands one that would be either a massive victory or one that will be a lost that will lower arm around and our numbers....
