Moon Pavillion
Gu Yi patiently stood at the bottom floor for more than half an hour, without moving an inch. He was waiting for Tang Yuehua as he had already informed her via letter that he had some information about Tang Hao. He then looked towards the stairs as he heard the sound of someone coming down.
The silver palace robe seemed like it was purposefully made for Tang Yuehua, fitting her perfectly. As the only person on Douluo Continent to possess a domain with only a ninth-level spirit power, she truly lived up to her reputation.
Gu Yi's lips moved slightly but he didn't utter a sound. Tang Yuehua, however, turned excitedly towards the corner where Gu Yi was standing. Despite her emotions, her noble aura remained largely unchanged, although her excitement was evident.
"This gentleman, would you come upstairs to talk?" Tang Yuehua walked gracefully up to Gu Yi and softly asked. Gu Yi agreed readily, as he had come to see her in the first place.
Seeing Gu Yi's agreement, Tang Yuehua turned and instructed the people behind her, "Do not let anyone disturb me."
"Understood."
Everyone present was astonished. No one expected the famous Lady Yuehua to personally meet someone who appeared out of nowhere. The men, in particular, were green with envy, their eyes burning with jealousy. There wasn't a man in all of Heaven Dou City who would refuse to be alone with Lady Yuehua, even if it meant just looking without touching—an exquisite pleasure in itself.
Mature women can be categorized into two types: seductive and graceful. Seductive women make people want to sleep with them, while graceful women make people want to love them. Tang Yuehua was the latter. Her every expression and movement exuded elegance ingrained in her very being.
Tang Yuehua directly led Gu Yi to the top floor, which was her own private space. It was quiet and no one would disturb them here, it was perfect for discussing private matters. Given that Tang Hao was still wanted by the Spirit Hall, she needed to be extremely cautious about everything.
Tang Yuehua guided Gu Yi to a seat by the table. "Where is Tang Hao?" she asked directly. The reason she had brought Gu Yi to the top floor was because he had claimed to know Tang Hao's whereabouts. This made Tang Yuehua very excited since she hadn't seen her second brother for over twenty years. Despite everything changing, her bond with her brothers remained strong.
"I'm Gu Yi, the headmaster of Tianwen Academy." Tang Yuehua was uninterested in this information. Gu Yi didn't keep her in suspense and told her "Soutou City. The last time I saw him was in Soutou City."
"Soutou City?" Why would her brother be there?
"I also forgot to mention, Tang Hao has a son who is quite powerful too," Gu Yi added. Tang Yuehua pondered deeply, while Gu Yi waited patiently, sipping the tea, which tasted exquisite.
"What is your purpose in seeking me out?" Tang Yuehua didn't believe someone would come to her just to deliver this news.
"Then I'll be direct. I hope you can use your Noble Domain on me. I need your help with something." Gu Yi sought to use Tang Yuehua's domain to clear his thoughts.
"Is that all?" Tang Yuehua had expected Gu Yi to make a more demanding request. Asking for the Noble Domain was a simple favor for her. "Sure. Shall we start now?" she asked after agreeing.
Gu Yi nodded.
A wave of energy, completely different from the Evil Domain, enveloped the top floor. It was elegant and natural, calming everything it touched. Gu Yi didn't resist, allowing the wave to influence him, drawing out the fatigue from his soul. His already relaxed mind started feeling sleepy, and he eventually fell asleep on the table.
Tang Yuehua was taken aback. This man claimed he had something to resolve, but now he was just sleeping. Puzzled, she looked at Gu Yi, feeling a bit uneasy about letting him sleep on the table—it was too unseemly. However, her place was the only one in Moon Pavillion with a resting area.
Thinking of the information he brought, she couldn't bear to let him sleep uncomfortably. She gently lifted him, showing surprising strength due to her spirit power, and carried him to a cozy bed in another room. Watching him sleep peacefully, she sighed, feeling a bit perplexed.
In his sleep, Gu Yi mumbled, "Kill...kill..."
Startled, Tang Yuehua saw evil energy and killing intent emanating from his body. Feeling exhausted, she took out a zither from another room and began to play, using her domain's power to soothe him. Her music reached far, even the lower floors of Moon Pavillion, cleansing the hearts of those who heard it.
"Only Lady Yuehua's music is this delightful," a Noble in white remarked. No student could match her in music, demeanor, or beauty.
On the top floor, Tang Yuehua watched as Gu Yi's murderous aura subsided, his evil energy receding. It wasn't until the next morning that Gu Yi woke up.
"So comfortable, haven't slept this well in ages," he remarked, feeling refreshed unable to recall the last time he felt so free. The reason he could sleep so comfortably was because he knew that Tang Yuehua posed no threat to him as she needed him to know more about Tang Hao. She also was too weak.
"Awake now? You slept here for a whole day and night. If there's nothing else, please leave," Tang Yuehua said. She hadn't expected him to sleep for so long, causing her much trouble with his restless sleep and uncontrolled killing intent.
"If it were someone else with less patience, they would've woken you up already. Only someone kind-hearted like me tolerated it," she thought. Furthermore, she was also hoping for more news from him about Tang Hao and his son.
"My apologies," Gu Yi said, noticing the change in the sky. He hadn't expected to sleep for so long. He didn't want to disturb Tang Yuehua any further, she had already helped him a lot with her Noble Domain and directly left.
As he descended, shocked eyes followed him. Lady Yuehua had never kept any man for so long—it was extraordinary. Ignoring the envious glares, Gu Yi walked out of Moon Pavillion.
