As they entered the bustling auction house, the girl at the entrance handed them each a mask to cover their faces, as was customary in such establishments. Hun Yu and Master Yun put on their masks and made their way into the auction hall.
Taking in the grandeur of the hall, Hun Yu exclaimed, "It is quite magnificent inside (づ￣ ³￣)づ".
Master Yun replied, "This is just normal compared to some places."
They took their seats as the auction was about to begin, but Hun Yu couldn't help but notice two familiar auras. A girl and a boy, he couldn't quite place where he had met them before. Perhaps they were just random people, he thought, as he focused on the upcoming auction.
As the auction began and items were presented one by one, a cage covered in a red sheet was brought out. The auctioneer spoke, "It's a nonpareil among all."
He placed his hand on the red sheet and continued, "Well, I'll first reveal the starting price of this lot. One hundred thousand gold soul coins, every increase of the bid is not less than ten thousand gold soul coins. My honored guests, please pay attention."
As he removed the sheet, a cat girl could be seen trapped inside the cage. The auctioneer continued, "Perhaps you might be curious about why this girl has the same price as our beauty fostered by the auction house. She's extraordinary if you look carefully. You are right, this is a precious cat lady. Her body mutated when her martial soul awakened, hence she possesses a cat figure. It'll be extremely great to have a gorgeous cat lady as a pet."
He looked around at the guests and said, "My guests, you can bid now."
As Hun Yu and Master Yun watched the bidding for the cat girl, Hun Yu's heart sank at the thought of her being sold and kept as a mere pet. He turned to Master Yun and asked, "Are we not going to save that cat lady?"
Master Yun looked at him with a serious expression, "Do you have enough gold coins to buy that cat lady?"
Hun Yu's face fell as he realized he did not have nearly enough gold coins to make a bid. Master Yun continued, "Do you have enough power to save her?"
Hun Yu remained silent, unsure of what to say or do. Master Yun let out a deep sigh and said an old saying, "If you want to change the world, start by changing yourself."
As the bidding came to a close, Hun Yu and Master Yun watched as two people sitting on the top emerged as the winners. Hun Yu turned to his master and asked, "Master, who are those guys?"
Master Yun replied in a serious tone, "They are the sect master of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda and Sword Douluo Chen Xin."
Hun Yu was amazed. It was his first time encountering someone from the three big sects, and it happened to be the sect master and guardian of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda sect.
Master Yun interrupted Hun Yu's thoughts, saying, "Let's go, we don't have much time. We can't waste our time here."
As they stood up from their seats and made their way towards the exit.
As they walked out of the Heaven Duo Auction House, Hun Yu couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer opulence of the place. As they made their way towards the hotel, he was lost in thought, contemplating the auction and the events of the day.
Upon reaching their hotel room, Hun Yu and Master Yun took a seat. Hun Yu broke the silence, "Master Yun, do you think I can reach level 40 in just four months?"
Master Yun looked at him thoughtfully before replying, "Reaching level 40 in four months sounds like an impossible task, but nothing is truly impossible in this world. There have been many miracles throughout history. With your ability to cultivate faster under the sun, you might be able to reach level 35 or 36 in four months. Currently, you are at level 32, so you need to find something that can help you bridge the gap and reach level 40."
As it was currently afternoon, Hun Yu was ready to leave towards the Sunset Forest. He turned to Master Yun and said, "Master, I will meet you after 4 months."
Master Yun nodded and replied, "Take care on your journey. Remember to cultivate diligently and make the most of your time."
With that, Hun Yu made his way towards the exit of the city and headed towards the Sunset Forest. As he walked, he thought about the challenges that lay ahead. But he was determined to overcome them and continue his journey towards becoming a powerful soul master.
As he entered the forest, he felt a rush of excitement and fear. The trees were tall and dense, and the sounds of wild beasts echoed through the woods. But Hun Yu remained focused, his senses sharp as he navigated his way through the forest.
As the sun began to set, Hun Yu found a spot to set up camp for the night. He built a fire and settled down to meditate, focusing his mind on his cultivation and the challenges that lay ahead. With each passing day, he felt himself growing stronger and more confident.
Over the next Three months, Hun Yu dedicated himself to his training, pushing himself to the limit and overcoming every obstacle in his path.
