Capítulo 4: Chapter 4: Family
"Brat, it's me, can we talk?" Yu Fei said.
"Eh, hold up!" Xiu Ye quickly unsummoned his martial soul and remove the strange cyan lines on his body.
"Oh? What do you mean hold up? Has your body finally developed enough to start 'you know what'? It's okay, I can wait a little longer. Just think of me when you do it okay! It'll pop sooner, I know, I know, it's weird thinking of your older sister's sinful body. It's taboo, maybe. But you can't–"
"OH FOR SEA GOD'S SAKES! SHUT UP!" After having the strange glowing lines on his body disappear did Xiu Ye finally let Yu Fei inside.
After a clinking sound from the door, Yu Fei's ever bodalicious figure came inside.
Just like always, she wore her nun outfit, but without the headdress, letting her beautiful blonde locks to fall and wave graciously by her behind.
'This heat. His spirit is a mixture of his parents; the form of sword with the spirit of a sun.' Yu Fei fondly recalled memories of a past she held dear in mind.
"As you may know, you're moving out." Yu Fei straightforwardly said as she took a small wooden chair nearby, moved it in front of Xiu Ye, and sat on it.

Yu Fei ignored the reddened face of Xiu Ye and said.
"Then this is probably a good a time as any to tell you, about your real family."
"Ha?"
Xiu Ye's dumbfounded expression said it all.

"Oi, delete that photo you shitty nun!" Xiu Ye growled at the now amused looking Yu Fei, but still looking both indifferent and cold, holding a soul camera on hand.
"My, what crass language. Brat, I thought I taught you better than that!" She said but the twinkle of amusement in her eyes said otherwise.
"What you taught me was belittling people, insulting them, seducing them, and most of all, slapping them." Xiu Ye's said with a deadpanned expression. He considers Yu Fei as the only person in this entire orphanage as family, despite her demeanor and... strange personality, but her heart is at the right place as she mostly took care of him in his life.
...Though he mostly regrets knowing her.
Yu Fei shrugged it off but then her expression turned serious.
"So, what do you think?"
"I think you're a sorry excuse for a nun..."
"Not that! Though I will give you a nooky later on for that. But, what do you think of knowing who your family are?"
Xiu Ye turned silent for a moment, thinking, 'I don't really give a crap about them, cause I already have you here, but I am curious', and asked.
"... Who are they?"
"They're people who, for all intents and purposes, should be killed on sight when seen." Yu Fei straight up said to him.
"... What. The. Fuck?" Xiu Ye's only reply to what Yu Fei said. With anything that he could have predicted and theorized, this was not one of them. "What do you mean "Their people who should be killed on sight when seen." sis? What the fuck kind of family do I have?"
Yu Fei opened her mouth to speak but closed them soon after, hesitation on her face. She really wanted to tell Xiu Ye the entire truth, but she knew the truth would probably arise his curiosity and might try to find his family.
Which she wouldn't allow to happen.
"Ye, I, I really want to tell you everything about them but you're not ready for them. I could only tell you the bare minimal."
Xiu Ye's face scrunched up in frustration, which to Yu Fei's point of view looked like a pout, and let out a sigh.
"Okay... I know you have your secrets, but I trust you, unfortunately. So, what can you tell me about them?"
"Well, simply put, they're classified as evil soul masters."
'Well shit.' Xiu Ye's eyes widened.
Evil Soul Masters, are Soul Masters with a Evil or Dark element Martial Soul, but they use evil methods to increase their strength. These evil methods are for example: using the remains of an infant to cultivate, drain a Soul Master's body of their soul energy, or etc. These methods of training allow Evil Soul Masters to develop their Soul Power much faster than the normal Soul Masters, even spirit beast turned human are not as fast. But it becomes harder for them to cultivate the higher rank they reach.
"Well that certainly explains the kill on sight warrant." Xiu Ye said, not really minding too much. They're evil soul masters, yes, but as long as they don't bother with him any longer or anyone discriminating him because of his parents, he could live with the fact of being an offspring of a family of evil soul masters.
Yu Fei blinked her and finally, for the first time that Xiu Ye knew her, she showed a different expression than indifference or stoicism: total utter surprise.
"Wait, that's it?! Y-You're not freaked out by this? In total denial? Disbelief? Anything that showed a big reaction for me to take a picture of?"
"You just told me your real purpose there sis..." Xiu Ye said with a deadpanned expression.
"Nevermind that! I, wow, for you to be so undisturbed by such news, I've really raise you great huh?" A single tear dropped down from one of her eyes.
"Wow, such pride, ego and acting..."
Yu Fei ignored him and rolled her eyes, thinking, 'What was I worried about? This is Xiu Ye I'm talking here! This brat is either more mature than his other peers, or the most laziest, talking about the origin of his family isn't really going to get a reaction.' She then returned to her usual expression and continued.
"Oh don't be so relax brat, cause those family members of yours aren't your average evil soul master. They're renown for not their evil deeds, but for being good; helping people, the poor, the deprived, etc. I know what you're going to say, "Then how are they evil soul masters?". Well, it's because they've cultivated their soul power by feeding on all the negative aspects of humanity; sadness, fear, anger, gluttony, lust, greed, envy, etc. So despite their best in being good, the Federation and Spirit Pagoda, in their paranoia and fear, slapped the evil soul master tag on them for their rising power and secretly sent their elite soldiers after them."
"For the sake of your safety, your family decided that you have to be raised in somewhere remote. Yu Fei watched Xiu Ye slowly took in everything she said.
Basically, his the son of a prestigious good evil soul masters family and the Spirit Pagoda and the Federation had his said family of evil soul masters to be hunted down, probably even till now, and to protect him, Xiu Ye had to be sent somewhere safe with Yu Fei to take care of him, which confuses the hell out of him. Who would entrust a child to a woman like her? Oh and said woman is probably his maid or something as well.
...Now why does this setting seem familiar?
'Just how complicated could my life be?' Very complicated.
