First Floor of the Tower, Headon's Floor.
Sensing the changes in Shinsoo, the Guardian of the First Floor of the Tower, Headon, slightly shook in surprise and excitement at this familiar sensation.
It was a sensation that he only felt a few times in his life, but one that he could never forget.
'Another one opened the door.'
Expecting the arrival of a new Irregular in advance, Headon quickly hid himself in the Shinsoo to observe the new arrival for a while, his eyes glinting with curiosity. Unlike the earlier boy, which was long prophesied, the appearance of this Irregular wasn't something that he had foreseen at all.
Soon after Headon hid himself, a portal apparead inside the cavern.
Headon looked at the newcomer with curiosity as his mouth slit slowly split open to reveal one of his eyes.
At a glance, the new Irregular was a wearing a golden armor with two horns with blue lines all over his armor and he is quite tall, Headon knew the armor this man wear is well crafted and expensive but he feel something powerful insidr the man something... Divine.
It was difficult for Headon to judge, as the man who came out of the portal gave a unique aura. He feel unprecedanted might presence from that man,
'How amusing…'
However, the most unusual and eye-catching aspect of the new Irregular's appearance by far was certainly a bulky full-plate armor that covered his entire body.
Altogether, the new Irregular gave off the feeling of an experience warrior and A king.
'How interesting. It looks like this man is royalty and his presence like a king, I wonder what impact he will give in the tower?' Headon secretly snickered as his curiosity got the best of him, making him reveal a row of razor-sharp teeth in anticipation for the future.
Robert look around the cavern and see pictures on the wall. 'I am inside the tower.' It has been more than a hundred million years since he become the king of asgard.
He has begun to learn of becoming a king, fighter, Lead, becoming a leader, strategist, Diplomacy, and war. He already have the nine realms at his disposal except for midgard, he has been at war with the other eikons for a hundred million years. He is not interested in love, girlfriend, wife, married and having children. For him all of those are wasting his time and not important, what is more important in life are Power, Power, and more Power.
He walk deeper into the cave as the portap behind him dissapeared. 'Where is headon?' Robert didn't see headon anywhere. 'He must be hiding.' He suddenly stop walking as he lool towards a cavern wall because robert can feel someone's presence hiding behind the stone wall.
At that moment, a strange chuckle suddenly sounded out from somewhere. "Hehe, I didn't expect you to have such a high level of vigilance. You must be quite a fighter, aren't you?"
Robert looked over and saw a humanoid rabbit with a staff in his hand appear from within the darkness. The rabbit had white skin and two long, pointy ears that creased back from its head. Its mouth slid traveled across the entire oval-shaped face, as if it had on a permanent smile, yet he had no visible eyes.
'So that's headon!' He already read manhwa called 'tower of god', headon is the first person bam met when entering the tower. This character is also mysterious because there is no much information about this guy other than his name and appareance, his instict tell him headon is strong.
"Who are you?" Robert pretend not knowing him and using confused tone.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you," the Rabbit added . He spun around a stick with two balls at the ends once and added, "My name is Headon, Guardian of the lowest floor of the Tower. What is your name?"
"My name is Robert!" He didn't want to tell him his other eikom name.
"Robert... is that all? You seem like someone from royalty." Headon said politely.
Robert felt as if the Guardian tried to gain more information on him. "Universe, I'm Robert Universe!"
In truth, he only had made up his last name. However, he was aware that he could take up any name that he wanted when reincarnated.
"Robert universe… what a unique last name, but very well. I welcome you to the Tower, Mr. Robert. How come you ended up in this place?" Headon ask.
Observing the humanoid monster's unreadable expression, Robert thought for a moment, and said, "I wanted to search for more power and knowledge."
Robert always had bad feelings about headon in the story. It felt as if Headon had his hands in everything that happens in the tower, mostly in everything that happens in the tower, as he secretly manipulated things from the shadows.
There is even a theory that he is the real 'GOD' of this tower, one of the most interesting this about headon is he was able to talk to bam before he ever receive a pocket. This could mean headon know the language of outside the tower or he is from the outside of the tower.
The less that Headon knew about him, the better. Robert's true intentions, which was to become more powerful and reaching the top of the tower.
In turn, Headon's expression did not change and remained unreadable. He replied, "So it was like that. Power and knowledge, well you have come to the right place, If you want power and knowledge you can achieve them upt there." Headon pointed up meaning he needs to climb up the tower. "Do you want to go up the Tower?"
At that moment, Headon looked up as he raised his staff up, pointing it at the mysterious starry ceiling that seemed to have no end, and continued, "The Tower is a place where dreams and wishes come true. No matter what you desire, whether it is wealth, glory, power, immortality, beauties, happiness, adventures or excitement… You can find it all as long as you go up the Tower! The Tower is such a place."
Robert pursed his lips as the excitement within his him burning up at those words.
Headon turned to look back at Isaac and continued, "But do keep in mind that it is a risky and painful journey to embark on, young man."
Robert didn't care as he smirked, replying, "It doesn't matter. I really want to see what the Tower is like."
"Good! Then, let's do a test to see if you qualify." Headon turned toward one of the murals and started walking while explaining, "In this Tower, every time you go up a floor, there is a test to see whether you are qualified to go to the next floor. If you pass the test, you can proceed to the next floor."
"Tests are decided by the Administrators and Rulers of each floor. Of course, the difficulty varies depending on which floor you are on. In other words, if you want to go up to the next floor, you need to pass my test. And this is your test on the First Floor…" As he finished speaking, Headon tapped one of the stone walls with his staff.
Following that, the wall seemed to melt down and was replaced with ornate iron bars. Behind those bars was a spacious cage-like room with a semi-transparent blueish water-like substance filling it and a humongous winged snake-like monster swimming inside.
"... The Ball," Headon finished.
Robert's eyes narrowed as he saw the humongous eel-like monster in the distance, a monster that was as thick as a dram and several times longer than a slam.
Robert already getting used to figh and kill against giant enemies outside the tower and war between Eikons. He already gained many experience in fighting and war so this will be easy for him.
Headon slightly grinned and continued, "The Ball is a simple test. The Ball is that large black sphere. It is designed to pop when hit hard enough. To pass the test, the rules are simple. You need to go inside the bars and outrun or defeat that monster, then pop that ball, and you pass the test."
"The monster inside is a White Steel Eel. It is a big fish that lives in Shinsoo that flows through the Tower. Usually, it has a very mild temperament, and this one hasn't eaten anything for a few months, so it's very aggressive at the moment." Headon loomed a bit closer and asked, "Do you think you could deal with it?"
Robert look at the white steel eel. 'Just like in the manhwa, this eel is big and strong.' He didn't feel any fear looking at the eel.
As Robert still looking at the eel, Headon added, "If you're afraid, you should go back home and you might still keep your life."
Robert faintly smirked when he heard this. He was cautious, but it didn't mean he would back off. He looked at Headon and said, "I'll take this test."
Robert smiled as he heard him. Looking at Headon, he continued, "I'll take this test, but I want some time to prepare first."
"You can, as long as you don't take too long. Let's see…" Headon showed a pondering look for a moment, before saying, "I will give you half an hour to prepare. After that you have to either take the test or leave. But remember that if you leave, you will never be allowed to enter the Tower again."
Robert nodded. "Okay."
Half an hour was enough.
Robert summon his sword Zantetsuken and begin to feel the energy around the tower called 'shinsoo'. Headon is surprise as he can feel all the shinsoo around him are welcoming Robert's presence. 'How unusual, all the shinsoo around the floor are embracing him and welcoming his presence.' Headon's look at the weapon he holds.
The sword, in particular, attracted Headon's attention, it's design is unique as it emitted a fascinating and dangerous aura similar to that of the most special weapons in the Tower.
While robert is concentrating pouring shinsoo inside his body, Golden lightning currents began to dance around his body, crackling.
At the side, Headon's eye came out as he secretly observed the new Irregular with curiosity. 'A golden lightning Shinsoo Quality… How interesting.'
Meanwhile, Robert sent out a lightning-fast punch with enhanced speed and power, using both Shinsoo Burst and the full extent of his strength.
He then let out a breath.
It seemed that he should have no problems in outrunning that giant eel because he has stats above the charts.
Although he had never seen a White Armored Eel in action, based on the manhwa, he felt that it shouldn't be fast.
Robert looked at his Zantetsuken, this sword have already use by him fight side by side for a hundred million years.
The sword Zantetsuken, has ultimate an ultimate move that targets nearby enemies and unleashes an attack that depletes a large amount of health.
He himself could also use it to pop the Ball if necessary. In 'Tower of God' Ignition Weapons seemed to have their own power supply and bearing a soul. When activated it releases vast amounts of power, enhancing its speed, damage, etc.
Robert was brought back into reality just in time because he sense an energy of another person above him, he look up to see a figure floating down from the void-like ceiling.
It was a woman.
She was tall and impeccably dressed in a semi formal outfit; her white suit fit her slim figure perfectly, and her blood-red necktie complemented her black hair that was tied in a ponytail and waved about as she was falling down with a nonchalant posture.
She landed not far from Robert with hands in her pockets as she smiled at him coolly, her eyes excited, then opened her mouth. "Yo!"
'I never would thought, I would meet her here!' Robert is surprise yuri is still here and not going to the second floor with other Wolhaiksong members.
