Capítulo 20: Chapter 20: First Battle
After lunchtime, I come back to the Medical Centre, "Hello, Miss Joy, can I go to the battlefield now?"
"Hello, Jovan you can immediately go through the back door to the battlefield.", said Miss Joy while pointing at the back door of the Medical Centre.
Then I go to the back door. When I open the door I see so many people watching a duel on the battlefield.
In curious, I see it too. On the battlefield, I see Betamon fighting with Tentomon. And it looks like Betamon who will gonna win.
Like I thought so too. After a while in the collision Betamon successfully beat Tentomon. Especially this Tentomon looks like not very obedient.
If I am guessing right trainer of this Tentomon just caught his Digimon from a wild. Because most Digimon in the wild is Child level. Then, jungle rules make them more fierce and hard to tame. It also makes them reach the Child level very fast than domestic Digimon.
After that battle, two people go away from the battlefield, and then I see a man about my age come onto the stage of the battlefield. Seeing this I know he is my opponent.
Seeing this, I also come onto the stage opposite him and said, " Hello, I hope we can get something from this duel."
"Yeah, I hope so. Don't disappoint me.", said the man with a flat face.
"Battle begin!", as the referee said this we throw Digi cube to the field.
"Go, Palmon," I said then throw Digi cube from my hands.
"Go, Elecmon," said my opponent too.
Then, two Digimon appear on the battlefield. Looking at each other they start to hostile toward each other.
Then the man gives a command, "Elecmon, Body Attack.", hearing this elecmon rushed to Palmon and want to slam it while saying, "Body attack".
Seeing this how can I let him do as he wishes, so I command Palmon too. "Palmon, don't let him touch you. Use Thorn thrust." then Palmon's fingers become longer and thrust towards Elecmon, "Thorn thrust".
Seeing this the man immediately commands, "Elecmon dodge it, then use sparkling thunder.", Elecmon immediately dodges it and shoots a bolt lighting on Palmon, "Sparkling thunder".
"Palmon uses Root Stretch to dodge it. Then use Plant Shock", Palmon immediately use her extended claws to slash the ground and makes her dodge Elecmon attack, "Root Stretch". Then immediately showers Elecmon with Poisonous Pollen, "Plant Shock".
Man surprised that I can dodge the sparkling thunder attack from Elecmon and counter it with Plant Shock. Then the man got panicked and ordered, "What!? Elecmon holds your breath! and use a thunder knife".
Elecmon holds his breath and prepares to attack Palmon with Thunder Knife, but how can I let this chance go. Remember this Elecmon still hold his breath and using Thunder knife it needs very focus.
Especially his Elecmon Thunder Knife just beginner. The most strong skill on this Elecmon is sparkling thunder that reached advanced. That's also why I order Palmon to dodge it when Elecmon use this attack earlier. This is also a reason Elecmon can release this skill very fast but didn't decrease its power of it.
"Like hell, I will let you. Palmon ends this, use Poison Ivy.", Looking at Elecmon who struggling to use Thunder Knife. I immediately ordered Palmon to Use Poison Ivy to end this.
"Poison Ivy," Palmon extended her claws again and entangled them with Elecmon. At the same time toxin in Palmon is attacked making Elecmon Paralysis and unable to continue to battle.
The referee who saw this said, "Elecmon unable continue a battle. Palmon, win! This Duel win by Jovan Gail."
