Capítulo 20: First Mission 2
Morning came quick, the sky was cloudy and faint traces of snow
could be seen lingering the air, falling gently on the ground.
In the midst of all houses, where stood the tallest one, Enyo stood there in guard waiting for someone.
The enemy was expected to come by anytime now, he couldn't afford to let his mind wander away to unnecessary things.
Because of this, he had yet to check his status and gains from yesterday. He made himself busy preparing for the incoming enemy.
As he was eyeing the surroundings, from the corner of his eye, he noticed a man about 6 inches tall, covered in white robes walking through the snow, making his way to the tiny village.
Enyo narrowed his eye and looked at him, noticing the weird chakra in him, his eyes were wide open and his danger instincts flared like crazy.
He turned his head, and right infront of him was the same man. Bald, a scar on his chin and about forty ears old, holding a great sword.,
Enyo immediately reacted by unsheathing the tanto on his back, getting in a defensive stance while supplying his legs with chakra.
His efforts were useless as the bald man's charge was too quick and powerful to defend in such short notice.
Enyo was sent flying. Luckily he managed to get a hold of himself landing safely on his feet.
"Why are you ANBU here? What did you do with the bandits here?" The bald man spoke in a raspy voice, clinging his sword on his shoulder, looking down on Enyo.
Each of these signs made Enyo frustrated, confirming the identity of the attacker.
"Sorioshi Gokko, also known as the Brute Slaughterer. I didn't expect you would be behind this pitiful organization." Enyo spoke, calmly assessing his plan.
The man before him is a rouge ninja from the stone village.
He is ranked as a B-Ranked in the bingo book. A rank where powerful chunin and low jonin took place. His bounty was also very low for his rank.
Because he hasn't made a move or has been seen for a few years, people though that he is just hiding and there is no reason to put such a high bounty on him.
Enyo jumped on another roof, and looked at Gokko, who was evaluating him.
"Hmmm. You're definitely too young to be ANBU. Is it because you're special, or are you just playing dress up? Kakaka, let's see." Gokko said in amusement and jumped toward Enyo.
However this time, Enyo was ready.
Both met with their weapons, which were enhanced with chakra.
One was barely 1.4 meters(4"6) and the other close to 2 meters(6"7).
So Gokko obviously had the advantage in strength here. Enyo knew this too, so he made advantage of his short stature and slipped to the right of Gokko and got into a piercing position. His right hand was on the butt cap and the other was on the handle.
With quick motion, Enyo went for the kill. Everything was on point, his position, quickness and execution, however.
Ckuck!
Enyo felt a weird sensation. He looked at the tip of the tanto and noticed Gokko's hand protecting him.
His white glove pierced, and underneath, a black hand was revealed.
"How is this possible?" Enyo, without hesitation, jumped away and
looked at Gokko with surprise.
There was no information about such an ability in the bingo book.
His hand turned black? Or is it a prosthetic?
Questions surrounded Enyo's mind at possibilities.
Gokko looked at Enyo and laughed, "Kakaka! even though I can't see your expression, you seem to be surprised. Haven't seen a Kekkei Genkai before?"
Enyo gulped. This may be the worst possible scenario for him. If it really is Kekkei Genkai, than the only one he can think of that can make his skin hard as steel and black is Steel Release.
Ordinary weapons have no way of breaching through.
"I guess I'll have to give my all huh.." Enyo muttered and threw his
tanto away. He reached to his inner cloak and pulled his storage scroll summoning an odachi that was almost as long as him.
Gokko still had a shit eating grin on his face and looked at Enyo in amusement.
"Let's have fun. Kiddo!"
Both jumped at the same time and landed at the ground, meeting at the middle point, both their weapons crashed.
Enyo had already adjusted to the weight of the Odachi so he didn't have any problem moving in fast speeds.
The movement of his sword was on point, each going for Gokko's vitals. While Gokko defended through them easily and launched a roundhouse kick, which landed on Enyo's ribs.
Enyo took a few steps back. He took a breath and immediately
supplied chakra to his sword. He flickered in front of Gokko, slightly up in the air and slashed downwards. Gokko protected himself with his sword with
great difficulty. The ground beneath his feet cracked, forming webs.
Enyo used Gekko's weight and his muscles to front flick behind him while letting go of his sword for a moment and catching with both hands going for a stabbing motion.
Gokko's eyes widened in panic. Enyo managed to strike Gokko before
he could use his kekkei genkai.
Slurph!
Bam!
Enyo was sent flying away. He landed on his back. He raised his head
and looked at the raging expression of Gokko.
His sword was embedded on Gokko's back. But the moment he stabbed
him, Gokko made use of his elbow to strike Enyo directly in the ribs.
"I definitely have a few broken ribs." Enyo clenched his ribs, but he had no time to lament as Gokko had already made his move.
Gokko was furious. He reached his back and pulled Enyo's Odachi from his back, blood gushing from it.
He cared for no pain as he ran towards Enyo with killing intent, this time attacking him with all he's got.
Gokko went for an overhead strike vertically, but the strike landed on the ground, shattering it in the process, giving rise to dirt and smoke.
Enyo, had already body flickered away and used this chance and in the smoke, throwing shuriken at Gokko
"Stop running Kid. You should die for ruining my plans." Gokko said irritatingly as he swung his sword deflecting the shuriken away, the blood had already stained has white robe.
Seeing that Enyo was hiding in the building in front of him, he muttered, "Tsk! I guess I'll play with you before killing you."
He threw his sword, embedding it firmly to the ground and wove signs.
"Earth Style: Earthly Terrain."
Following from his feet, the ground started to change. Earth spikes attacked the buildings surrounding him.
Enyo seeing this from afar, smirked and made a ram sign.
"Release!"
The moment the buildings were destroyed, hundreds of Explosion tags hidden from within them exploded.
In the centre of it all, was Gokko..
