Capítulo 68: Heartbroken

In the background, the music played softly as we danced slowly, surrounded by the grandeur of the hall and the lively people around us. But for me, it was all too much. The pain in my heart had been building up, and now it was too intense to ignore. All I wanted was to find somewhere to hide and cry. 

The people around us seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Prince Cassius's smile only made it harder for me to keep up with the facade. I felt like I was suffocating, and my breaths became shallow. I knew I couldn't keep dancing any longer. 

So, I stopped and looked at Prince Cassius, who was still holding me gently. "Prince Cassius, I-I... umm... I am not feeling well," I stuttered, my voice barely audible. 

He immediately noticed something was wrong and asked, "What's the matter, Amelia? Are you okay?" 

Feeling overwhelmed, I replied, "Can I take a few moments of rest?"
