Capítulo 30: A surprise for her

I froze on the spot, my mind racing with fear and shock. Several thoughts flashed through my mind in that instant, and I could feel my heart beating faster with each passing second. 

Who could this be? How long has this person been following me? Did this person see me going into the royal library? Oh God, what should I do now?

I thought helplessly, but nothing came to my mind. Biting my lips nervously, I turned around to face the person behind me. To my surprise, it was Arlo, the handsome guard with piercing, beautiful blue eyes.

"Arlo, it's you," I exclaimed. 

He looked at me with a charming smile, his eyes brightening up slightly. "You remember me, Your Highness. I feel happy." 

I smiled back. "How could I forget your name? You saved my life." 

Arlo smiled widely. "It was an honor for me to save your life, Princess Amelia."
