Her body didn't want to respond to her command because of it, so she could only sit there and watch from the distance. She had no choice because she was halfway through deciphering Aevia's power.

"Go, you don't have to protect me," Elena said as she glanced at Amaryllis. "Mykel needs you, he needs her power back..." She added.

"What about you? You're vulnerable right now and nobody knows what would happen to you if nobody is protecting you," Amaryllis asked.

"It's fine. I don't think Jeanne and the others would let Aevia target me. They're strong enough to occupy her and keep her busy," Elena answered as she tried to sit properly.
