Capítulo 17: CHAPTER 17: DAMARI 2
Damari only knew that the pill smelled very nice and when it slides down his throat, his whole body felt very warm and comfortable.
The pill was just miraculous and he began to look at Alita with a worshipping gaze. Alita didn't know what Damari was thinking about but smiled at him seeing that he was no longer in pain.
"It is getting dark and I need to send you home. Where do you stay?" Alita asked after seeing how dark it was becoming.
Damari had forgotten about going home so hearing Alita asking him about this, made him feel like a fool but he still answered, "Emerald village."
Alita didn't know whether her luck was that good or not. She had heard about this village but couldn't find its location or someone who can send her there. That village was well known for its emerald and the products were in high demand.
Alita had not put it in her mind to go there as it was useless even if she tries so she just ignored that village and yet now she saved a villager from there, how can she be that lucky?
"Do you know how to go there?" Alita asked since she didn't know a thing about it.
"I…..I don't know the general direction but it should be in between the ***** and ****** villages," Damari was hesitant when he said this, if he had been serious he would have known where he was going right now.
Alita didn't know what to say seeing how clueless Damari was right now. At least he knew where the two villages were so he could start from there.
"Okay then, let's go. I know just the way," Alita said confidently and Damari was relieved to hear this.
"That's good then, let's go," Damari couldn't wait to go home and show off the fermar he was now in love with.
Alita decided to carry Damari in her arms as she couldn't let the young ger walk when the wound was still not fully healed.
Damari didn't say no to this and happily let Alita carry him, feeling how lightweight Damari was, Alita had an urge to feed the young ger and make him plumper.
"So, what is your name?" Damari shyly asked after realizing that he still didn't know about his savior's name.
Alita realized this blunder too and coughed embarrassingly, "Alita Rogers and you?"
"Damari….. Damari Murray," Damari shyly answered and the atmosphere between the two improved greatly after that.
The two talked on their way and got to learn more about each other. Alita was quite surprised to hear that Damari was from a royal family and Alita was now worried about how Damari's family was reacting at the moment.
In the end, Alita reprimanded Damari for running away from home and Damari sulked a lot but inside he was happy since his beloved was very concerned about his welfare instead of his rich background.
After walking for an hour, Alita finally met a group of angry people who were looking at her with ferocious looks. If she was not mistaken, they were looking at her as if she was some enemy and she didn't like that at all.
"Dee, do you know these people?" Alita couldn't help but ask Damari as she looked at the group of men who looked like warriors in her eyes.
Damari didn't see the people so when Alita asked him, he quickly looked in the front and shrunk herself in Alita's embrace, "they are our warriors."
Damari's voice was very low as he said this and Alita understood the reason why she was being gawked like this.
"Are you not going to put down our prince?" one of the hulk men bellowed at Alita as his eyes darted between Alita and Damari.
Alita couldn't put Damari down at the moment, even though she had a feeling that his leg should be fine by now, she just wanted to keep on holding him, "he is hurt and I am afraid that I can't put him down."
"You...….!"
Damari saw that if he didn't intervene something bad was going to happen and he didn't want Alita to leave him like this. He wanted to make that bond with Alita and he wasn't going to let anyone chase the person that he had fallen for.
"Just take us to my father, I will explain everything!" Damari no longer spoke in that soft and shy tone he had been using on Alita but now he spoke in a demanding tone like a real prince.
The warriors had never seen their little prince that fierce before and they knew that they had messed up. They couldn't go against their prince and could only give Alita cold glances as they felt like if it wasn't for this fermar, then their prince wouldn't be treating them like that.
Alita was amazed by this change and it made her look at Damari who was in her arms in a new light. She was getting interested in Damari more and more.
In the end, Damari won and the warriors led the way. Alita was still hugging Damari and took steady steps as she carried the other. She wasn't tired as her body was strong especially after soaking her body in those medicinal baths for months.
They didn't walk for long as a vehicle took them back to the village, this forced Alita to put Damari down as she couldn't carry the other in the car. Damari was very nervous as he sat in the car, he didn't know whether Alita will be roasted or if she will be chased away by his father and his many mothers.
But since he was the spoiled one in the family, he was going to shed some tears and get what he wants this time. To make the tension a bit less, Damari tried her best to tell Alita about his village and the good things that were there.
Alita also forgot about the ferocious men still guarding against her and enjoyed listening to Damari all the way.
When she first saw the village entrance, she couldn't help but look at it with envy. She never knew that a place this beautiful existed. Looking at the luxurious gate, all Alita could see was money and a well-developed village that could rival a lot of big stars she had seen in the many years she started traveling.
The village itself was majestic but its majesty was something to admire later as she felt some chills just looking at the village filled with warriors who were eyeing the convoy of cars that just entered the village.
