As the nameless demon learnt of the plan, he didn't need to fake his shock.
After all, no such plan existed in the fragments of Jace's memory of the novel.
'However, this is quite beneficial to me as well', he thought to himself.
One of his major concerns had been securing the pieces in the human realm after all.
"You will be allowed to kill any demon within your capability to keep up your disguise."
"During your evolution, do your best to take a form as close to humanoid as you can, to increase your chances of survival during Sloth's Disguise procedure."
The nameless demon absorbed everything he could, to ensure his survival.
Amon looked at the 'determined' young demon before him and said, "Then, you may evolve. Now."
Amon's incredibly dense demonic energy flooded out, even denser than the energy on the Eighth Hell.
The nameless demon couldn't even yelp before his evolutiion began, a cocoon of darkness surrounding him.

In front of him, floating within the void, was a brightly growing tree.
Or perhaps something resembling a tree?
He could see a figure representing himself at the very bottom, with four branching paths leading upwards.
'Jace's final wish....was to be able to choose his evolution as he wished, as well as know all the pros and cons of choosing one evolution over the other.'
The nameless demon looked at the first option he had for evolution.

It looked like a towering creature made for hunting, with powerful, double jointed arms ending in sharp claws, a long and sharp tail flickering behind it, a maw of sharp teeth and an exoskeletal armour.
'Absolutely not.'
To lose the potential for magic was already telling the nameless demon not to choose this one.
Besides, a Spear Domain could be unlocked by reaching the Lord level of Mastery anyway.

It was a mix of silver and black streaks, but ultimately, it was non humanoid. It looked like a cross between a snake and panther.

The lesser strength did not dissuade him too much, as such things could always be changed externally, unlike a complete lack of magical talent.
The only major threat was if he could not survive Belphegor's forced 'humanisation' that he was going to be put through after this.

It looked like what the name suggested, a big flesh amalgam with maws and eyes sticking out of every crevice.

Even with the lack of a humanoid form, he had been tempted by the [Amalgam] evolution.

The only difference one could tell, would be the mouthful of fangs and the other extendable maw within the throat, coupled with the extra pair of arms.
The form resonated within the nameless demon.
'This is....too perfect.'
Perhaps it was the Weaver at work?
Or Fate itself?
But the nameless demon knew that he would be playing into some being's hands by choosing this.
'And yet....it's too good to pass up. The excess amount of abilities can also hide the fact that my soul isn't connected to my Sin.'

'And the being pulling the strings behind the scenes?'
'I'll deal with that when it comes to it.'

Under the Obelisk Patriarch's watchful gaze, a being that the cosmos despised was being formed inside a cocoon of demonic essence.
As the evolution continued, Amon left to make preparations for the visit to Belphegor, the Devil of Sloth.
Far away, in the stronghold of Sloth, stood a black throne. The throne had a big pillow, filled with exotic materials such as phoenix feathers, and even divine materials from the corpses of gods.
The being slumbering atop this pillow cracked their eyes open, just a bit.
And that was enough for the space outside the castle to return to chaos.
Curiosity sated, the Devil of Sloth returned to her slumber.
Her will manifested in the surroundings, as all ceased to move, from the greatest of titans, to the smallest subatomic particle.
All had succumbed to Sloth.

The dark cocoon holding the nameless demon pulsed, and then shattered, as a pale arm protruded from it.
The cocoon was fully dissipated, as the first Ohr Jinn the universe had seen since the beginning of it's current cycle, tore it's way out into reality.
"A-Ahh. Ah. C-CaN I fiNallY SpEAk NoW?"
