"Well, we are a peculiar group." Rex laughed after a moment.
Aisling was pleased to see that he had a good sense of humour. She would often blurt out things in her mind without thought, and it could be annoying at times. She felt a little more comfortable with him and relaxed.
"If I were rich and famous, I would also establish a few weird habits." She said as she scrolled through the menu.
"Like what?" The man asked with a subtle smile.
"Something atypical and inexplicable. Like eating grapes of one perfect size."
"You should know that that one is taken." Abaddon chuckled.
He had been worried that he could not connect with Aisling in her inner world. However, it seemed like he worried too much. Regardless of the place they were, she was always his Aisling. She would not change. Their souls would not change.
"Really? By whom?" Aisling leaned closer while whispering excitedly. "Are they in this room? You don't have to say a name. Just glance."
