Capítulo 26: Chapter 26: Arsha Vs Aqua

"So, you're suspended from Grand Knight duties for a month, they took away your weapon and you're also prohibited from leaving school grounds for two weeks," Noelle remarked.

It was lunch break at the moment so she was hanging out on the roof of the building.

"Yeah, that's everything," Ariel muttered as she made her way to the edge which had a rail around it to prevent an accident from happening. "But it's not like I care." She added before resting her arms on the rail.

"You're not fooling anyone with that."

There was a little moment of silence between the two before Ariel finally let out a sigh.

"Okay, maybe I'm a bit upset that they took Fremi but that's all there is to it." Her voice dropped a bit there as she lowered her head on the rail.

"Are you sure that's all?" Noelle inquired before slowly placing her hand on her left head.

"Yeah, that's all." She blurted.

A gust of wind blew past them at that moment as Ariel turned her gaze to what was going on below. There was really nothing to see though, just a few students moving about.

"If they're doing this because I almost killed her, I wonder what they would have done if I had actually killed her."

"Probably suspend you from duties indefinitely, take away your weapon indefinitely, and prohibit you from leaving school grounds indefinitely." Noelle listed.

"You're just adding indefinitely to the things they already did." Ariel chuckled.

"Yeah, because that's all I can see them doing, to be honest."

"Huh?"

"I mean, we would just go back to fighting each other if you had killed her and they would need you for that so they wouldn't throw you into prison or try to kill you." She illustrated.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

At that moment, Noelle folded her right hand, drew it back, and pulled it forward to send something flying far into the distance.

"For what it's worth, I don't think there's reason to get your mood down, we both know this is a very temporary situation and also…."

She suddenly paused at that moment causing Ariel to turn her gaze to her.

"Also what?"

"I don't want to sound like I'm happy about this or anything but this means you get to spend more time in school, right? That's more time to yourself and you can also spend more time with the people you see less because you're always busy."

"Don't worry, I know what you're trying to say. I should treat this as a break, right?"

"Exactly." She snapped.

"Someone I see less, huh?"

"You know there's a match taking place at the arena at the moment." Noelle notified.

"Okay, but I don't know why I should care about that."

"You didn't let me finish."

"Huh?"

"The match is between Arsha Logan and Aqua." She revealed.

"Oh."

_________ _________

There were quite a good number of students present at the arena at the moment to fill up the seats and a lot of them mostly the first years couldn't stop talking about who they believed would prevail in the fight.

"He's second-ranked and he's also level five, of course, he's going to beat her."

"If you saw how fast his mana ran out the last time we were here you wouldn't be saying that."

"Well, if you felt the intensity of those flames you wouldn't be saying that."

The two they were talking about were currently standing opposite each other on the arena floor and while had a poker face just as always, Aqua had a satisfied smile on her face.

"I'm glad you decided to show up, Arsha." She remarked.

"Yeah, me too."

"Really? You don't look thrilled from where I'm standing."

"Trust me I am. I see you decided not to make it a ranked match, scared much?"

"I tried to but he said it wouldn't work since you won't be using both of your abilities, 'That's the main point of ranked matches' he said, he said he would have considered it if you were there though." She disclosed.

"Well, that's too bad."

"Yeah, but it's fine this way, I can think of taking your rank after I flush you down the drain today."

The huge screen above the arena lit up at that moment, and the countdown immediately began.

Ten, nine...six, five, four, three, two...one.

As soon as that last number popped up on the screen, Aqua pushed back to create distance between them and while she was doing that, she sent two water blades flying toward him in an arrow formation.

The water blades were just about to make contact with Arsha when he quickly shifted to the left to avoid it.

A water blast was quickly fired toward him at that moment, that was something you would expect someone with water ability to block with a water blast of his own but he proceeded to avoid it just like he avoided the first one.

"Still not going to fight back, huh?" Aqua grinned.

There was a lot of frustration hidden in that grin as she proceeded to slap both of her firsts into the ground.

A huge stream of water burst out from the ground at that moment to form five tentacles.

"Try dodging this." She smirked before launching all of them toward him at once.

They were moving too fast for Arsha to react on time and just as they made an impact on the area, dust was kicked up to cover the scene.

The dust didn't block the audience's view for long though because her attacks were hydro and now that everything was clear again, Arsha could be seen and he wasn't on his feet nor was he on the ground.

The water tentacles were holding him up. There was one around his hands, legs and the last one was squeezing his body.

It was evident from his face that he was in pain from the way his body was getting squeezed but he wasn't making any sounds to indicate that.

He dug his teeth into his lower lip and left it there to prevent that.

"Maybe now you'll start taking this seriously."

The tentacles flung him to the side at that moment and smashed him into the wall.

That forced out a lot of gasps from the audience because Aqua seemed to have forgotten the word restraint.

She smashed Arsha so hard into the wall that he created a huge dent in it, and just as he crashed to the floor, the debris from the wall slowly fell on him.

"Is he okay?"

"No, I think he's dead."

"He didn't even do anything."

"That guy is honestly supposed to be a level five?"

"Why is he so weak?"

Those were quite harsh statements but they weren't entirely wrong assumptions to make because, at the moment, Arsha was lying flat on his face with the tentacles right above him.
