Kaede—a bearded upright man swiftly walked through a maze of big dusty cartons, mindful of his destination, and the mellow footsteps following behind him. It was the 3rd night he had felt a presence, and he could only assume that the person wanted to collect evidence of his abilities; a shadow trying to catch him. Yet, Kaede would always fail to catch on the man's trail.
"Fuck." He cursed under his breath and entered a container to lock himself inside. "This is getting ridiculous!" And it was. Why must he hide himself like a mouse? If only he could see his stalker, it would be carnage on sight. But he couldn't even use his abilities freely until he saw the culprit, the last thing Kaede wants is to be tied down by the council.
Sighing he hoped that once morning arrived, he'd have at least caught a face on his phone that he hid at a good angle. But regardless, he couldn't sleep in such circumstances, so he looked through his bag, and found something to eat.
