The woman rushed over to the server's quarters.
She threw the door open and ran in. Her trembling legs collapsed after.
"That guy… is the Devil," she whispered. "It can't be... How can I kill that brat when he is protecting him? How? HOW?" she frantically whispered.
Her eyes wavered, trying to find the solution for her problem.
"What can I do? What can I do? She mumbled.
She noticed a small bell next to her fireplace.
"Yes, how could I forget? I still have his help,"
She rushed over to the bedside. Under her bed, she hid all her secrets.
She picked up a few pieces of paper and started scribbling vigorously. "Erudite's eyes tear a jewel," she wrote. Her wavering eyes gaze at the parchment papers with determination.
"This will do. This will bring all the bounty hunters to Miriafa. I can finally get rid of that pest," she mumbled with a grim smile.
That woman was none other than the queen's handmaiden Ms. Yelli.
A dark red shadow flickered near her hairline. And If Ambai was here, she would have seen a fiery red 'Four' on her forehead.
For years she had watched over the little prince. Imagining that he was her son with the king, but her imaginations were shattered as he grew older. His face started resembling her's. His mannerisms and even his characteristics were like his mother.
She bit her lips and tolerated it, but as time went by, the love she had for him turned to bitterness. 'Why can't he be my son? Why didn't the king marry me as well? What is so special about her?' dark thought began to infiltrate her being.
It was said that the day she was born the sky cleared, and a rainbow appeared. Born without any form of scents on her body, she was named the pure maiden.
At age of twenty she was gifted to a king alongside the princess Kaye.
She was ecstatic when she knew about it; she befriended the princess just so that she can live a happy life together with her.
With excitement she had come to the kingdom as one along with the queen. But... but the King refused to accept anyone else other than Kaye as his wife.
And so her life was degraded to a petty maid.
All she wanted was to be married to a kind man like Rukle, but she ended up being a spinster.
One day Yelli rushed out of the palace and sobbed. "Why what is so special about her? I am just as beautiful as she is. I am intellectual as her. Then why? Why is it so? Why is it my fate to raise another woman's child?" she cried.
That's when she met Gaius. He had promised to get rid of the pesky prince and that bitch Queen. So she helped him fake his death.
But that man had still yet to keep his end of the promise.
She laughed in a sinister way. "Useless guy, if he can't do it then the demons can," she whispered.
She rang the bell softly, and a falcon flew into her room.
Taking the empty canister at its feet, she inserted the parchment into it. "Send it to your master," she said.
The falcon screeched and flew out.
Just like that she sent a falcon to each of the nearby kingdoms, demons included.
"This will ensure that brats his death. As for that bitch, I will kill her with my own hands," she pulled a small knife out of her skirt and started sharpening it.
"I will resolve years of resentment with her heart's blood," she mumbled with a fanatic look.
Standing on one of the nearby branches, Fang saw a woman release Falcon after another from her window. Her figure was vague, but he noted the window from which the falcon flew out.
"What would people be sending so late at night?" he whispered.
Curiosity got the best of him.
With his butterfly feet, he soared up into the sky and captured one of those birds.
The falcon screeched and bit his hands. "Hey, come on, let go, if not I might make roast meat out of you," he whispered.
The falcon struggled even more.
With a sigh, he snapped its neck. "Sorry little friend, you were to loud," he whispered.
He unhooked the scroll attached to its feet and hid the corpse in his pouch.
"I will not waste your sacrifice," he said with a chuckle. "Ah, I wish Kaden could cook this for me," he whispered.
His mouth started to water, remembering the tasty dishes his friend had cooked for him.
With haste he opened the small scroll and read its contents. His eyes went wide in shock. He gazed up at the several falcons he missed.
"Shit… Miriafa prince is in serious trouble,"
He jumped onto the nearby branch and launched into a room.
"Fang," A half dressed Deric gazed at him with a wooden look. "I thought I told you to go back to Lafta,"
"no I… I did. Now I am back," he mumbled.
"Your nose twitches when you lie," Deric said with a chuckle. "go back, if you are discovered they might kill you,"
"no, I have something very important to say. Its….," Fang exclaimed.
A loud knock disturbed their discussion.
Deric gazed back and whispered, "Hide,"
Fang rushed to the nearby closet and hid inside it. "Why is it so cramped?" he pushed the clothes out of the way and fitted his slim body inside.
"Prince Deric I heard you talking to someone," The guard said.
The voice seemed vaguely familiar to Fang. 'Who might that be,' he wondered.
"I might have to check your room," the guard said and entered.
"Deric, are you okay, I've got medicine show me your back," the guard whispered.
Fang was a little confused. 'Eh, why is he giving medicine? Wasn't he hostile just a second ago?' he thought. He peaked out of the closet and saw lustrous pink hair.
"Kaden!" he exclaimed just as the closet door broke from its hinges.
He fell on his face.
"Fang?" Kaden exclaimed in shock.
