Anna looked around the weird, yet familiar house through young Oryol's eyes. She and her kuya Igwa were passing through the long, creaky bamboo corridor, before heading outside where the dining table and kitchen were.
Igwa went down the bamboo stairs first, slowly descending into the floor. Anna felt the young girl's excitement to go down. Her heart was jumping fast, and she was very jittery, twiddling her thumbs, and telling the stout man to hurry his way down so she could also go down.
Once Igwa reached the bottom, young Oryol stood up in front of the ladder and grinned at her kuya who was waiting below.
"I know what you're thinking." Igwa shook his head while pointing at her. "Don't do it." He warned.
However, instead of deterring the girl, the young Oryol smiled mischievously at him.
"Hey, Kuya Igwa…" She called out his name teasingly. "You know what time it is? Hihihi!" She laughed.
My apologies, for the wait. I was unfortunately hospitalized for almost a week. Sorry if I wasn't able to publish chapters then. But I hope you'll still keep reading the novel.
For now, updates will be scheduled @MWF while I am recovering.
Thanks!
