The first rule of engaging in situations like this is to know how many hands your opponent has. Not in terms of individual fighting power alone. It should apply to the number of subordinates behind them.

The old woman is wise enough to understand that, and also assume that Sango and Kian were not alone.

Hesitation was no longer bothering them as Sango picked up a piece of meat and threw it in his mouth. Kian waited for Sango to finish chewing before he attempts to pick one.
