"One…two…three…"

With the last count, Arthur breathed out and blast of blue flames exploded from his fist right after he punched the air. 

"Success…" he breathed. Beads of sweat flowing down his exhausted face after that previous spell. The toll taken from these power-ups was worth it because it meant his spells were ten times stronger. However, he needed to find of way of ending this abnormal exhaustion.

A week had passed since the adventurer test happened. His little show of strength had not only made him a popular figure throughout Guild Hall but also so many adventurer parties wanted him to join. Unfortunately, he had turned them all down because he wished to develop his individual strength for the time being.
