Capítulo 4: What is this?

The masks all stare,

They are reading, but why?
Damn, the sun burns, it shouldn't be this hot! Well now that I think about it isn't unbearable. Wait, what even happened? Oh yeah that thing, I made a deal with it. WHY?! That is the worst thing to do. How could I be so stupid? Oh well time to think about that later it's time to address why I'm being dragged by the 'golem', through some abandoned village way different from before. He doesn't know I'm awake so maybe I can surprise it. "AHH!" What happened. . . The pain. I couldn't help but scream.
"Your alive still, you are not normal. Just give up, and DIE!!!"
Die. What does he know about death. I've seen it take me and my friend (many times?) "Do you know what I want to say?"
"No."
"I know why it didn't follow. The thing knew what I could do." The deal. It's active and I have unbelievable power. "I made a deal and I will obey it." Before it could get to me, I reached into my soul mustered up everything. Every fiber of my being into this one magical attack. Wait I don't know how to use magic, too late. Black void came from around the golem and engulfed it. The outline of the golem was kicking, screaming and sinking slowly until it was finally forced away. I feel like my body has been overused. Does this world have ibuprofen? Oh well now that the golem is out of the way I should be able to investigate where I'm at. The area was empty, a run down part of the kingdom possibly. I guess I can sleep somewhere around here.
"Woah." I feel like that is a bad idea. De ja vu? No just common sense. Well anyways I need a better view of my surroundings. There is a tower in the middle of this area, I'll go on top and assassins creed this. Some time passed. Wow it's a little harder than expected. Trying to put my feet in each crack on the side was difficult however I already half way up so I am as well stay. Bruh, there was stairs! It's just an abandon village, medieval era, nothing interesting. The people, where are they? Was my first time here just an illusion? Or was I somewhere else? Oh well I need to sleep, this tower has high ground. I should do some training in the morning.
"You are asleep." The void person was sitting next to me but in an empty cafe.
"What do you want, and why is there no one at the village?" He better answer my questions. "And can you teach me how to use the magic?"
"The villagers are in an alternate timeline." What, "When you 'fought', if that was even a fight, I teleported you and him to a different timeline. You can do it too now with the power I gave you, just don't use it too much, or you will corrupt faster. You already know how to change timeline, the rest you have to figure out on your own."
"What else would 'corrupt me?" I don't want that to happen whatever it is.
"Your power, don't overuse it and it will take centuries to corrupt you." What will happen when it does? "The void will take your body and you will be one with darkness." Can you read my mind? "When you dream yes."
"That's interesting, don't do that please."
"Noted, well than I will go now you are all rested up, and it appears you subconsciously went back to the timeline with actual people. Good luck with the task at hand. The demons are stronger than the weak golem."
