"Tell the men in this hall to go and find comfort outside. The hall is ours tonight." Ragnar said.

He was being quite selfish and unapologetic, but he deserved it so much. His rank required such pride and ruthlessness. His actions may have seemed harsh, but they were necessary for him to maintain his position of power. The demands of his role left no room for weakness or compassion. 

I wished he would one day put Cedric in the condition he was about to put the men partying in the big hall.

"My Lord, many of these men are noblemen, and many are rogues. They would burn the hall down if we made such an announcement." One of the gammas standing by the door, who seemed to be the head of the platoon said with a calm voice.

Maybe he had the intention to calm the matter on ground by being polite, but his words enraged Ragnar.
