Capítulo 42: Going Rogue

Sam slowly got off the ground with a cracked face. His outer skin slowly crumbled, or so he thought, into dust, revealing a young, smooth skin with curls of dark hair.

"What the hell!" Alex couldn't help but exclaim, spitting out blood. Right before him was a young guy, maybe a year older than him.

"Now is not the time for that. We need to get out of here." Alex thought, grabbing the pole in his stomach and pulling it out with Qi lacing his hands.

"Ughh!" He groaned with blood escaping the corner of his mouth. Damn!

[ Host is low on blood energy and won't be able to perform to his full strength ]

Although healed, Alex could feel a slight pain along with a persistent thirst. "Not now... how do we want to escape this?!"

Far away on a rooftop, Dan stood with smiling eyes.
