Capítulo 190: Graveyard Caretaker

Now at the graveyard, Kael and Jacquelyn met the caretaker who was digging out wet sand with a worn-out spade. The man raised his face upon hearing people's footsteps. He quickly stood up, causing wet earth debris to scatter around, almost touching his guests.

"Are you from the royal family or a friend? Let me see your family crest," the middle-aged man asked, not minding the dirt on his hand, which he used to wipe his tanned face.

Jacquelyn moved back a little, holding Kael's hand closely. The eerie nature of the place they had walked into reminded Jacquelyn that they had entered the home of the dead. The clogged gray skies looked like misty veils covering the whole place, a stark contrast to the sunshine Jacquelyn had seen outside before they arrived at the graveyard. Even when she raised one leg, she noticed the waterlogged soil forming around the soles of her shoes and Kael's as well.
