The vampire places her hand on the table, and with her ability, she can allow the others to see what she can see through the eyes of her bat familiars that are stationed in the air around the castle. The map of the continent disappears and in its place, it looks like a small rift in space opens up. Eris and the Four Horsemen look through the rift to find a young girl running through the winding streets of the ruined city.
The little girl is a little under 54 inches in height, has scarlet red hair tied in a ponytail, pale skin, pointed ears, and red eyes. She wears a fancy black dress and shoes. This outfit is also torn, ripped, and dirtied in different areas, as if she has worn it and had been running in it for a while. She stops and hides behind the remnants of a crumbled building to catch her breath, and Eris zooms in on her. Her face is drenched with sweat and as she takes in deep breaths, Eris notices her elongated canines.
"Ha. Well this is certainly convenient," Leila says with a smile.
The vampire zooms out again and locates what the younger vampire girl is running from. There are three individuals. The one who seems to lead the trio has a bald head, tan skin, a scar on his left eye, and brown irises. His muscular body is padded with metallic armor on his chest, legs, and forearms. He carries a silver sword in his left hand and a large hatchet in his right.
The one to the bald individual's left has wavy, blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He has a blue shirt, black pants, and leather armor covering his body. This individual carries a spear in his right hand and what appears to be a pair of shackles in his left, making Eris think that they plan on taking this girl alive.
The final one to the leader's right wears a light grey mask that covers up his facial features, purple robes, and black gloves and boots. This one also wears black clothing underneath his dark purple robes, and carries a wooden staff. Both of the faces that Eris and her subordinates can see have greedy smiles on them. Through her ability, Eris and the others also listen to their conversation as they scan the dilapidated buildings.
"Damn it! Where'd that little bitch go?!" asks the leader.
"I don't know but let's find her quickly. We've been tracking her for days. I want to go home already," says the blond.
"Come on! I was planning on having some fun with her!" the leader answers.
"You are one sick bastard, you know that? Not only is she super young, but she's also a monster. What the hell is wrong with you?" the blond asks with disgust.
"The kid that hired us said that he wanted her alive if possible. He didn't say that the goods couldn't be damaged a little bit."
While listening to their discussion, Eris' face turns to one of anger and disgust, "Tch! How revolting."
The image disappears as the vampire starts to walk out the room, but is stopped by Hadrian, "Wait, your highness. Do you intend to help that little girl?"
"Do you expect me to sit back and watch as one of my own kind is chained and taken advantage of by a bunch of humans?" she asks with a cold glare at her subordinate.
Eris then releases her magic aura combined with the feeling of anger she was experiencing. This combined with the contrast of Eris' glowing, blood-colored eyes with the darkness of the room sends a chill down Hadrian's spine and he quickly instantly lowers his head and answers nervously, "Oh! Of course not, Empress! Please forgive me! I was just worried because we don't know the strength of our foe."
"If you're so worried about it then come with me. But you will not stop me," she replies coldly before teleporting away from the room.
Hadrian breathes a sigh of relief and turns towards the other three, "Lock down the castle. No one gets in without dying on the spot."
"Yes sir," Raven, Leila, and Kieran answer at the same time before Hadiran teleports away.
Back in the ruins, the younger vampire girl has been cornered by the three thugs. Her back is against a solid, white brick wall that used to be part of a large building or watchtower. The leader and the blond-headed individual both have wicked smiles on their faces while the little girl has an angered expression on hers. She bares her fangs as her nails grow into long, wickedly sharp, white claws.
"You can't win, little monster. If you put those claws of yours away, I promise to be gentle," says the leader with a disgusting smile.
This remark only angers the younger vampire more when suddenly, a voice can be heard from overhead, "I think not!"
