Capítulo 10: 10. Disasters

Aldric stormed into the War God's Church, golden eyes sharp with purpose. He had finally received news that the traveler had returned.

He still didn't know the man's name. He didn't know why he was so intrigued. But one thing was certain—he would find him today.

However, fate had other plans.

Just before he reached the VIP prayer rooms, an unwelcome voice interrupted his march.

"Grand Duke Aldric!"

Lunabell Siyrit, the self-proclaimed Saintess, practically floated toward him, her white robes billowing elegantly. In her hands, she carried a delicately wrapped box.

Aldric immediately felt the beginnings of a headache.

"What do you want?" he said flatly.

Lunabell beamed, holding out the box. "I baked some cookies! I wanted everyone to have a taste, especially you, Grand Duke."

Aldric sneered. "Why would I eat something from a strange woman's hand?"
