Capítulo 172: A shopping date

Bai Liyue glanced at the big parcel in her hand and fell into deep thought. She could see her mother's mysterious smile and felt a bad premonition in her heart. "Where are we going, mother?" she asked sharply. 

Mei Lin smiled beautifully. "Shopping."

"Shopping?" Bai Liyue frowned. "Why so suddenly?"

"Dear child, are you having doubts about your own mother?" Mei Lin questioned with a saddened smile. She moved closer and held Bai Liyue's hand. "My dear child, there's no conspiracy. I just want to spend more time with you. Since you have lost your memory, I have noticed that you aren't very close to us, to me, and to your family."

"I know, currently, you don't like us that much. You think we are trying to control you and not let you do what you want," she sighed. "But dear child, we are your parents and we love you a lot. We have already lost you once, and we do not want to lose you again. We are worried about you."
