As they walked further away from the hall, Bai Liyue started worrying about what would happen if the people at the party discovered they were missing. She hesitated and pulled onto his hand. 

"Yufeng...."

"What?" he asked, not stopping in his tracks.

"What... what about the party then?" she asked nervously. 

Qin Yufeng paused and turned around. His eyes were fixed on her, and he could sense her apprehension. He thought for a moment, took a deep breath, and said, "Don't worry about the party. I want to be with you, love."

"As for others, even if they find us missing, they dare not talk about us. So, you can stop worrying what other people would think," he chuckled. 

His voice was soft and reassuring, and Bai Liyue felt herself melting under his gaze. "Okay, then," she nodded with a smile. "Let's go."
