Diana naturally had no clue about Daisy's thoughts or she would have bickered with her for chastising Maxim.

Diana calmly spoke, ''Moreover, look at our parents. Although they seem to be cool with each other's existence, Mom hates Dad's absence in her life, and dad is equally bothered by her antics. They constantly get on each other's nerves yet they can do nothing about it except for tolerating each other because they are husband and wife and they need to uphold the reputation for that,'' she paused, face scrunching slightly as she continued, ''Am I a brainless bird? Why would I even want Maxim and me to end up like that?" 

Daisy's brows tugged together. There was something wrong with this theory but she could not put a finger on what exactly was wrong. 

''No matter what, if he wrongs you in the slightest, you need to tell me. As I said, I will fix him up for you,'' Daisy said after a moment.
