Man aren't created equal.
That was the harsh truth Midoriya learned at a very young age. However, he wasn't the only one who learned such a life lesson.
Children's laughter filled the air to the point it was insufflating. The green-haired boy wanted to cry, but what would be the use? Midoriya was laying on the ground, too weak to raise himself again. He turned his gaze to Kacchan's grinning face. Midoriya wished he could punch it.
Was it a harmful wish? Yes. However, wishes are still capable to be granted.
Before his very eyes, Midoriya witnessed something he thought could never possibly happen. Kacchan was punched into the ground by a girl. The girl had her hair onto her waist with two buns on top of her head. Her hair was a watermelon pink before it faded downwards into royal blue. She wore a yellow flowery dress with a pink t-shirt over top, she wore blue ripped jeans and bright red shoes.
Midoriya was amazed at how easily the girl managed to face Kacchan, let alone punch him. When Kacchan stood on his feet and tried to attack the girl, she stepped to the side before she kicked him in the gut. Kacchan gets hit to the ground again, and he coughed. The other children wanted to aid Kacchan, but he only glared at them before he yelled. "I don't need your help!"
Midoriya could not see the girl's expression because she faced backwards towards him. But Midoriya could hear the slightest sound of a chuckle from the girl. That sound alone was enough to confirm Midoriya the outcome of this fight.
However, the outcome never concluded what Midoriya could have predicted.
Kacchan was laying upon the ground with bruises, while the girl remained standing with only a few scratches. Midoriya was beyond shocked, he never thought Kacchan could lose a fight. And yet, that's what exactly happened.
The girl turned herself around and Midoriya manage to see her face. The girl had a delicate face with boyish features. Her face was well rounded and her lips were slightly plumped, and yet her eyes were slightly narrow and a strong jaw and chin. She had an eye colour that resemble plums, her skin appeared a rich smooth colour that was similar to honey.
The girl walked over to Midoriya with a kind smile. She reached her hand, Midoriya struggled as he accepted it. When Midoriya was lifted off the ground, he was then placed on top of the girl's back. The girl then walked out of the playground, leaving a defeated Kacchan and frightened children. Midoriya stared at them but didn't say anything.
"You need to stop picking fights that guy." the girl said with a huff.
"Do you mean Kacchan?" Midoriya replied with a horsed voice.
"Do you know anyone else who has an explosion quirk?" the girl said with a sarcastic tone.
Midoriya didn't reply, while the girl sighed.
"Why do you even bother facing him, to begin with? If you ever tried to face him again, get stronger first."
"But I don't have quirk..."
"What does that have to do with anything? You do realize I have beaten up the spikey netball without even using my quirk, right?"
"What is your quirk?"
"It's nothing flashy like Boom Boom Boy's quirk, but it is still a pretty destructive quirk."
"Is it a fire quirk?"
"No."
"A super strength quirk?"
"Nope."
"Are you able to create natural disasters?"
"Good guess, but also no."
"Then what is your quirk?"
The girl chuckled. "Why don't I show you?"
"Huh?" Midoriya tilted his head.
The girl quickly turned herself around before she pulled out a feather from her pocket. She placed the feather up to her nose before she huffed.
"Hold on tight!" the girl said to Midoriya before she sneezed.
"AH-CHOO!"
The girl's sneezed created a blast of air towards the ground and sent her and Midoriya flying through the sky. Midoriya had his eyes tightly shut, when he opened them he saw that he and the girl were several feet off the ground.
Midoriya screamed in panic. "WE'RE GONNA DIE!"
"No we won't!" the girl said as she placed the feather up to her nose again.
"AH-CHOO!" She faced herself to the ground before she sneezed again, giving them a gentle landing. Well, mostly.
"Ow! Ground shock!" the girl said as she shook her legs.
"That was scary..." Midoriya said with trembling lips.
"Yep, but at least we're here." the girl said as she pointed at the Musutafu apartments.
"This is where I live," Midoriya muttered.
"I know." the girl simply said as she walked toward the apartment building.
"How did you find out where I live?" Midoriya gulped.
"I used to live here too, that was before me and my dad moved out."
Midoriya sighed with relief. The girl walked up a few stairs before she reached Midoriya's door.
"Is this your apartment?" the girl asked.
Midoriya nodded his head and was put down. Before he decided to enter through the door, Midoriya turned towards the girl and asked.
"Will I see you again?"
"Maybe, but I highly doubt it."
"Why?"
"I and my dad are going to move into America at the end of the month. I don't know when we ever return."
"Oh..." Midoriya lowered his head.
"Sora."
"What?" Midoriya blurted as he was shown a scar up hand.
"My name is Sora, Sora Winter. I forgot to introduce myself before." the girl said as she stretched out her hand.
"Izuku, Izuku Midoriya. Thanks for helping me before, from Kacchan." Midoriya said as he shook Sora's hand.
"I can't believe you can stand that guy, he's such a jerk," Sora said.
"I know, but what can I do? He has such a cool quirk while I have nothing." Midoriya frowned before he was flicked on the forehead.
"Shut up! Your mopping is annoying! Izuku, you're weak!" Sora groaned.
"I know that, but why are you telling this?" Midoriya said before he was flicked again.
Midoriya yelped while Sora pinned him against the wall. "If you're weak, get stronger then! Or do you want things to stay the way they are forever?! Change can't happen unless you change first!"
"Okay..." Midoriya stuttered.
Sora gasped as she stepped back with a shocked expression. "Sorry... I didn't mean to act like that."
"It's okay..." Midoriya said.
Sora clicked her tongue. "You shouldn't forgive me easily..."
The door soon opened and a green-haired woman walkthrough. "Oh! Izuku, you're home. I thought you were still playing with your friends?"
Midoriya turned toward his mother for a moment, but when he turned around again Sora was already gone.
"Where did she go?" Midoriya muttered.
"Come on Izuku, I'll make lunch," Midoriya said as she gently got Midoriya inside.
Meanwhile outside, a little girl was hanging off the balcony with the strength of her small trembling hands. When the sound of the door closed, Sora sighed in relief before she pulled herself up.
"That was too close. If she would have seen me, there's no doubt that "woman" would have found out." Sora sighed.
"Dad is going to kill me if finds out I went to this place after his divorce."
