Capítulo 281: How It Happened - 12

"Mabon!" Ruby called from behind as they walked into the battlefield and through the burst gates of the Ziviel Kingdom.  As soon as the princess crossed those gates and set her foot on the grounds of the palace, she stopped. Memories washed over her as her gaze went from the left to the right -- top to bottom of the whole place. No, she wasn't seeing the bodies or the war that was happening. Ruby was seeing the palace compound that she once knew -- a place that she once ran freely on. 

It was all too nostalgic for Ruby.

Taff especially could understand what had made the princess stop in her tracks. He watched and waited for her to take her time in gathering herself. Taff thought that Ruby was strong to even withstand all these. He had expected that she would not want to be in the heart of it all but here the not-so-little princess was.
