Capítulo 279: Some Clues?

Caspian walked Anastasia back to her chamber after she watched her brother’s carriage vanish into the forest.

After leaving her to Tilla’s company, Caspian headed towards his study room to see if Zenon had left anything on his desk.

‘I bet there are piles and piles of files that I have to go through. I haven’t been around for a week after all,’ Caspian thought to himself as he heaved a deep sigh. He could already imagine himself getting drowned in the sea of papers.

However, unlike what he had expected, there weren’t any papers on his desk yet. “Was he too busy to bring all the papers here?” he mumbled to himself while looking at his desk.

He then went to find the guards at his door and asked, “Wasn’t Zenon here this morning?”

The guard bowed his head and replied, “No, Your Majesty. He hasn’t come here since you had a meeting with him yesterday night.”

“Ah!” Caspian nodded and then asked again, “Then, have you seen him around?”
