Meanwhile, Qi Ming Wei was heading upstairs to find his grandfather in the study.

As he stood in front of the door, Qi Ming Wei inhaled a deep breath before he pushed the door and entered the room.

Just as he was about to close the door behind him, Qi Ming Wei noticed an object flying in his direction. Fortunately, his reflex was quite good and Qi Ming Wei managed to grab that item before it hit him on his head.

Qi Ming Wei lowered his gaze and saw that he was holding a stapler in his hand.

If this item hit him on the head, it would definitely hurt him.

His eyes narrowed. Qi Ming Wei was bout to ask his grandfather the meaning of his action when he suddenly heard him shout his name.

"Qi Ming Wei!"

He turned around in time to see his grandfather swinging his cane to his body.

Fortunately, Qi Ming Wei was quick enough to block the cane before it could hit his body. However, his arm was still hurting as the cane hit him hard.
