Capítulo 2: 02 - Sakayanagi?

When I opened my eyes I saw the white roof of the room. I can't move much now because somehow I can't move my limbs. And also I don't know where this is, which certainly isn't my old place.
I said nothing because all my body feels very heavy. A few minutes later I saw that someone had entered, she was a little girl with Lilac hair and Violet eyes. She approached me slowly.
"Ah! You're awake !?" Said the girl when she saw me, she seemed surprised to see me awake, but who was she? Does she know me? And who am I too?
"Who are you? And also ... who am I?" I asked her because indeed I did not know the answer to my question.
"I am Arisu, Sakayanagi Arisu ... Like the doctor said that you will not be able to remember your past" replied the girl named Arisu in a guilty tone.
Why does she feel guilty?
I tried to think why she felt guilty, but I found nothing. I try to remember who I am and why I became like this, but the more I remember my head hurts. I held my head in pain and felt a bandage there, maybe this is the reason I forgot my memory?
"Don't force remembering ... The doctor said it's not good" Arisu said in a slightly worried tone, she still stood looking at me.
I did not answer, just nodded my head in agreement with what she said. Not long after that two men appeared from the door of the room, one dressed in all-white which meant he was a doctor and the other dressed formally. I'm sure that the person in formal attire is Arisu's father.
"It turns out you are awake Sakayanagi-Kun" Said the doctor who immediately rushed towards me to examine me.
Sakayanagi?
Is that my name? Isn't that the Arisu surname? If so, am I and her family? Yes I can ask later.
Arisu and her father sat in a sofa in this room, while the doctor was still checking my condition. If there is a doctor then this is a hospital, and I will definitely be hit by an incident that will end here.
"Everything is fine ... Because Sakayanagi-Kun hasn't moved a long time, then all your limbs are hard to move," the doctor said with a smile to me.
If I can't move my limbs because I haven't moved for a long time, then how long have I been sleeping here? Not moving for more than 1 month can make my limbs stiff, but if the incident that happened to me I would have slept more than 3 month .
Even though I forgot my memories like Arisu said, but I still remember the lessons I learned. I just don't remember the faces of the people in my past and what happened to me.
"Thank you doctor," said the man in formal attire. Maybe he is Mr. Sakayanagi, which means he is my father.
"It doesn't matter ... Then I'll come out first, oh yeah tomorrow Sakayanagi-Kun's bandage will be removed" Said the doctor and after that he left the room.
In this room there are only three people left, if it is true if I am Sakayanagi then they are my family. I saw Arisu who smiled at me, and after that man- I mean my father went to the chair near my bed and sat there.
"Are you ... my father?" I tried to talk. I have had a hard time talking since I woke up earlier.
"How do you know?" Asked the man-my father with a slightly surprised face.
"Doctor ... Calling me by the name .... Same family ..... With Arisu" I painstakingly explained to the man I was sure was my father.
"He has difficulty speaking, Father should explain it and don't ask too many questions," said Arisu. I thanked her because it was true that I had difficulty speaking so I could answer his question.
Father agreed to Arisu's request and began explaining what had happened to me. So it is true that they are my family, although not a real family, but the family is still a family. I have been sleeping for a year which makes me surprised, it's just right my body feels very heavy.
Regarding breathing apparatus, it's been released since the doctor examined me. I'm still in a sleep position because I still can't move my body much.
1 year ago I saved Arisu from a bullet that made me end up in the hospital. I am not sorry because it is a good action. For 1 year I fell asleep Arisu family has appointed me as a member of his family.
Father said that my age and Arisu are the same, which is 7 years. And also I realized that Arisu experienced something on her leg. My father explained that Arisu had an accident that made one of her legs somewhat damaged, but she could still walk with the help of a cane.
Besides that, I found out that my neck had a necklace that I was sure was a device mounted to help me. There is a button there which if I press and is red I lose the function of my mouth, ears and feet. If I press it again and it turns green then I get back the function of that body part.
Father also said that I might undergo rehabilitation at the hospital for several months. Injuries in the brain cannot heal easily or may not heal completely. So I'm undergoing rehabilitation to get used to all of my current situation.
Arisu and father also said thanks to me for saving Arisu who is my Sister now. If I examine Arisu better, she is a girl who I believe is very smart. also she might already think of me as her brother.
I don't know who I am, so I don't know my name besides Sakayanagi either. Father decided my name is Ren, so now my name is Sakayanagi Ren

The next day I was visited again by my family, but now only Arisu was coming because my father could not. Now is the day the doctor will release my bandage that is in the head. For 1 year, my bandage was always replaced because the wound on my head often opened by itself and the doctor said that the wound on my head could open at any time.
After opening the doctor said that the wound was closed, but I had to be careful not to reopen the wound. If I do something excessive or push myself the wound will likely open again.
The doctor left after all the work was done. I can also talk even though it's not much. Now there is only me and Arisu in this room.
"How should I call you?" I asked Arisu. I intend to solve the awkwardness while wanting to know what she wants to be called by me.
"Fufu, just call me as you wish, Ren" She replied with a smile.
"Alright then ... What about A-Chan or Ri-Chan?" I say with a smile.
"Fufu is okay, but I want to say something" Arisu smiled again while asking me something.
"Hmm? What's that?" I asked because I didn't know what she wanted and was curious about her request.
She did not immediately answer and just smiled at me. For some reason I don't feel anything, I still have a few memories about lessons where a man must feel something when looked at by a woman. Maybe because the operation changed my nature or maybe I used to be like this, I don't know.
"Ren, you must be a true genius" Arisu said that seriously.
I wondered why Arisu told me to become a true genius. Strangely when I think about the future despite thinking hard, my head doesn't hurt like when I remember the past. Maybe this is also the effect of the surgery or tool in my box.
The meaning of true genius is genius among geniuses, people who can conquer other geniuses. So what she meant was, Arisu told me to be a very intelligent person who could make others bow to me. There might also be other reasons why Arisu told me to become a true genius.
"What are your plans, Ri-Chan?" I ask because I'm already a little extinguished about the question, I just don't know the real plan.
"Fufu, you seem to understand, Ren? I will destroy the fake geniuses ..... So if Ren doesn't become a true genius I'm afraid you will also be destroyed by me too" Arisu answered with a little laugh.
"Ri-Chan don't need to worry, if you want to destroy me then just try it" I replied with a friendly smile.
I have decided, I will live a life where no one can control me. Arisu is right, I must become a true genius if I want to carry out my goals. Arisu just smiled at my answer.

I have been in the hospital for months, Ri-Chan often visits me and brings me gifts. I have started to get used to the devices installed in my neck. I have also started to walk even though I have to use tools.
I don't remember my birthday so Ri-Chan set my birthday the same date as March 12. My relationship with him is getting closer, we are like real family. Now is March 12th, so Ri-Chan and I are 8 years old.
I told Father to buy a present for her in the form of a ribbon to decorate her hair. Both of them are now in the hospital, precisely in my hospital room. Dad and Ri-Chan brought me a present for my birthday.
"Happy birthday to you both ... Father brought you two gifts" Dad smiled as he gave me a gift that was also obtained by Ri-Chan.
About my mother, I don't know where she is because she never visited me. I also didn't ask about her because I was afraid that it would make them sad. I'm now happier even if there's a mom I'm happier.
"I also brought Ren a gift" Said Ri-Chan who handed me a gift box and also a stick that I thought was cool.
I've seen that stick before, a stick that can insert a stick's foot. A really cool tool, because if I go to school it will be very helpful.

"Thank you Ri-Chan, I also have a gift for you ..... Father ..." I received a gift from Ri-Chan and asked father to give Ri-Chan the gift I ordered.
Dad took out one more gift box and gave it to Ri-Chan. Ri-Chan immediately opened the gift and found a special gray ribbon to attach to her hair. Without thinking she wore the ribbon on her hair, she looked beautiful because the ribbon was combined with black beret which she often used when visiting the hospital.
"You fit, Ri-Chan" I say praising him with a smile.
"Fufu, you better open the gift from me Ren" She told me to open the gift she gave.
I nodded then opened the gift Ri-Chan gave me. I found that she gave me a black scarf that had a hint of purple. I immediately knew the purpose she gave this, if I go to school then the device that is in my neck will be the center of attention so I can cover it with this scarf.
"Thank you," I say thank you again because Ri-Chan really knows me.
I also opened a present from my father whose contents are watches. I don't care what dad gives me because it's a sign that he loves me. Ri-Chan didn't open the gift Dad gave, maybe he will open it later.
We talked a lot of things and the most important thing is that I will be discharged from this hospital tomorrow. My condition has improved and I'm used to my tools. There's no reason to be treated anymore because I'm also bored here.

The next day I was picked up by Ri-Chan and my father, the clothes I was wearing were no longer hospital clothes. I also used the scarf Ri-Chan to use to cover the device on my neck. I also held the stick that Ri-Chan gave me too to maintain my balance.
I can not wait to make my goals achieved. During my stay at the hospital Ri-Chan taught me many things like her favorite game, chess, various lessons she knew and others. I can say that she is a very smart kid.
For some reason I also easily understood what she was teaching, not only understood but I also could not forget that understanding. Though I often forget about many things like the name of the doctor who treated me, the name of the food I ate, and many more. Maybe it's because I don't think it's important so the memories will be forgotten.
I'm heading to the Sakayanagi family's house and will be staying there with my family. In the car I chatted with my family about many things that I could not mention one by one. I became impatient to be able to realize the expectations of Ri-Chan.
