Capítulo 1: Chapter 1: Awake Again

Todoroki's POV

As I opened my eyes and the sun shone on my face, I sighed. Looks like I woke up this morning. I sometimes wonder if one night, when I fall asleep, that the next day I might not wake. That world might end in the middle of the night.

I know that it might be weird for someone my age to be thinking about that at their time of their lives, but in the world of quirks, you can die in a matter of seconds. Even the greatest hero's.

I slipped on my school uniform, and started my daily morning routine.

I headed downstairs to be greeted by my older sibling, Fuyumi. "Morning, Shoto."

"Morning.." I said a bit tiredly, edging past my sister. I wanted to leave as soon as possible, mainly to avoid my father. I headed towards the front door, until a muscular figure got in the way. Father..

"Where do you think you are going?! You haven't even had breakfast!" My father said loudly and sternly. Not changing my expression I squeezed passed him. "I don't need breakfast. I'll wait till lunch." I snapped.

"But Shoto!" Fuyumi called, "come on!" I looked back at her and, by mistake, let off some steam. "Stop worrying about me all the time. And shouldn't you be getting ready to leave and teach your elementary students?" I snapped at her, then giving a glare to my father.

I turned my back and didn't look back at them. I didn't want to. Right now making the two of them jolly isn't my priority, never will be. Well, not for him anyways.
