Capítulo 57: Chapter 57- Warrick – Speaking to the Dads (VOLUME 1)

I woke up with Lyssa on the couch the next morning. Her hand and mine were still clasped together, like they had been when we drifted off to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Seeing her beautiful face when I first woke up for the day was like a dream come true.

In all actuality, I had thought that I was dreaming. That having her here with me, a part of my life again with her accepting me as her soulmate, I had thought that none of it had happened and that I had made it all up in an elaborate dream.

I was almost tricked into thinking this because I had slept the last three nights on the couch in the suite that Clovio and I had shared last year. There was a bedroom for me, but I didn't want to be in there. I wanted to be with Lyssa, but I wasn't able to find her. Not until she came to me yesterday. That was when the pain started to recede just a little. Until she ran away that is.
